Riley's POV
I just grabbed my lunch from the lunch lad and I found James and walked over to him ignoring Michelle.
"How was Math?" I ask James
"Like always, she never teaches us anything we always get sheets."
"Oh.... Well Mr. Tachouski actually teaches us!"
"Ha ha." He says sarcastically.
We continue chatting about random school stuff when out of the corner of my eye I see 5 people walking up to our table and I stop talking.
"Riley?" James says.
I just jerk my head to the left where they were coming.
"So Riley, when are you going to wear something else?" Michelle snaps at me.
"What do you mean?"
"Well you always wear basically the same stuff."
"Excuse me Miss "perfect." I can wear what I want." I'm actually surprised I said that but she deserves it.
She huffs and walks away with her little "crew."
"Good job, I mean for standing up to them." James says.
"Thanks, it's just I've never done that before and I kind of feel bad but at the same time I don't." I say looking at James.
"It's okay, she deserves to get yelled at you don't."
James actually made this situation better at I guess Michelle does deserve this for all that she does to other people.
