Chapter 19

Riley's POV

I'm actually happy with the decision that I made, yesterday at lucky it wasn't that bad. I grabbed my food and found James sitting at a table and walked over to him.

"I've got a surprise for you tonight!" He says excitedly.

"What is it?"

"I can't say, but dress nice."

"Alright..."

When I got home from school I got a text from James.

J: I forgot to tell you that I'll pick you up at 6.

R: Okay.

I walked up to my room and searched my closet for something to wear. I pulled out my nicest clothes and laid them out on my bed so I could choose. I decided to go with a red medium length dress. Then I go to the washroom and do my hair, my hair is not long enough it out it up so I just leave it down. I take out my makeup and put some on, and by that time it's 5:55 so I go downstairs and wait. I decide to put on the TV because there's really nothing else to do.

After watching for about 10 minutes I hear the doorbell ring and I walk over to open it and see James' face.

"You look gorgeous." He says.

"Well thank you." I smile.

I close the door and we walk to his car.

"Why are we dressed so nice anyways?" I ask.

"Just wait and see."

After driving for about 15 minutes we pull up to this fancy restaurant.

"James why are we here?" I ask.

"Don't you want to go out for dinner?"

"Yes, but this place is really expensive."

"Don't worry I'll pay."

We get out of the car and walk into the restaurant. I didn't want him to spend all this money on me, but he seems like he wants to do I'm not going to interrupt.
