Do you remember when we met?
I thought I had no one.
And then, you waved me over.
I didn't understand why.
I wouldn't, if I were you.
But, you aren't me.
It's something I keep learning.
You and I...
That doesn't exist.
It's you,
And then, there's everyone else.
It's you,
And then, there's me.
But, when it comes to me,
Somehow, you're always counted
Somehow you're always present.
The day we met changed my life,
To this day I remember.
The hand that held mine when I tripped,
Would be the one to abuse me years later.
