Rumors have been lingering in the Superior son company.

"You smelt it earlier right? When he passed by"

"I knew it! I thought I was the only one."

"Why would he smell like him? Isn't that weird?"

"Is it an affair?"

"That's ridiculous!"

Adelaide watches her coworkers huddling at the corner of their office. Most of them were alphas and omegas talking and some betas were indirectly listening to their tea. It's been like that since morning and Addy didn't know who's the gossip target. At first, the female omega tried to dismiss it but after hours already passed the rumors spread quickly in different departments, making her curious. She couldn't take it and from the few words, she's getting it sounds juicy.

Adelaide decided to usher on the group.

"Hey what are you guys talking about? What affair?" She asked with enthusiasm but the employees stopped at their gossip as she squeezed herself in the huddle.

Hannah, an omega employee answered nervously. "What affair? Were we talking about that? Haha-"

Adelaide furrowed her brows as the other employees tried laughing it off, avoiding the topic.

"Hey hey stop being greedy. What's the tea?"

"Nah I don't think you should know." Marvin, a beta employee answered with a worried tone. Adelaide then crossed her arms disappointed.

"Why not? That's unfair!"

"You'll find out anyway Addy."

"What?" Adelaide asked, raising her right brow. But Hannah didn't explain further, instead, she pointed at the omega's behind resulting in her turning around.

"There's your answer." The fellow omega answered as Stell walks in their direction. The beta just finished his job and is now permitted to take a lunch break. Just like his routine, he goes to his friends' floor to ask if they're free for a lunch together.

Adelaide looked at the group of workers in confusion but before she could ask more, a sudden whip of coffee entered her nose. The female omega trembled knowing who's the owner of that scent.

Yet, the owner of that scent isn't here.

Where did that smell come from?

Her eyes widened in realization and immediately looked at Stell who's now in front of him. She tried sniffing the air and indeed she's not mistaken.

The scent is coming from the beta.

"What the f-"

"Addy your language! God." Stell cut her words, slightly surprised with his friend's sudden expression. He looked behind noticing Adelaide's co-workers peeking on them but quickly they scattered when the man's eyes landed on them.

'Why's everybody weird today?' He thought to himself before returning his gaze on the female omega.

"Got my lunch break. You free?"

"What the fuck Stell?!"

Stell blinked. "God Addy, you're such a cusser today what's with you?"

"Gosh everybody is so weird." In the end, Adelaide and Stell ate lunch without Justin. The young alpha mentioned how he's busy and can't come with them. Though, Justin only didn't like the lingering scent on Stell's neck and had to avoid it. Addy however can tolerate it. Stell tried asking what's wrong with the workers today. Yesterday some few people keep glancing at him but this time he saw a lot of sniffing and staring that made him uncomfortable.
