Tw: Minor signs of PTSD
The boss is lighter than Stell expected.
This is the second time Ken passed out after hugging him. As much as he wonders why he keeps passing out, the man couldn't focus much on that question knowing how many stairs he has to climb while carrying the Alpha on his back. He is lighter, but not too light to easily carry him upstairs and into his bedroom. Adding the fact that the whole lights are off and the beta couldn't see a thing. He relied on his foot, feeling every step while hoping he wouldn't trip and cause an accident.
"I deserve a raise, to be honest." Stell huffed to himself finally reaching the second floor. He looked left and right, recalling where Ken's bedroom is located. He then walked to the left hallway, counting every door he sees and stopped after counting the seventh door in the hallway furthermore quickly opening it. Not interested to sightsee the interior of the Alpha's room and slowly slumped Ken's body on the soft bed.
Stell sigh in relief, his body felt light after releasing him.
"All right- lights, lights..? God where's the switch?" The beta asked himself, walking around the room while grazing his hand on the walls, trying to find the light switch. Stell then felt the rectangular object on the wall and quickly tapped it, instantly blinding his eyes with the sudden light.
Seconds his eyes adjusted quickly, and the opportunity to see the room's interior came.
Another modern Victorian design fell on Stell's sight. Just like how Ken's office was, the whole set of his room is quite dark and mysterious. A vintage beige floor carpet with unique swirling designs placed on the center, with the king's size divan bed trampled on it (while Ken is still deeply asleep on the bed). At the far right side of the wall is a bathroom while a walk-in closet is at the far left.
The place is quite spacious so there were other decorations that Stell didn't bother to check more. But he did notice the single wooden bookshelf filled with different unfamiliar titles. It was next to the Divan bed on the left side, while on the right side was a small wooden table.
The beta decided to check on Ken to see his status. He walked near the Alpha and leaned down, placing his hand on his forehead to see if he was hot. Next, he studied the younger's chest breathing to see if he's breathing fine. Realizing the breathing seems normal, Stell tried whispering to the man.
"Sir? Do you feel any pain?"
To the older's relief, he saw how Ken's eyes twitched at his voice. Looks like he's fine so far.
Knowing an ambulance isn't much needed, he decided to call Ken's personal doctor instead. His boss might be stable but he doesn't know what happened before he came. As the alpha's secretary, he needs to make sure if he's physically fine. Who knows? Stell saw the younger man by the stairs, he might've fallen on the staircase without his knowledge.
The beta later scrolled to his contacts to find the doctor's number on his phone. When he found him, he quickly tapped the call button and placed the phone on his right ear.
Few rings before he heard an answer.
"Hello?"
"Yes? Dr. Cruz? This is Mr. Ajero, sir Suson's secretary?" Stell answered and moved his eyes to check on the younger man still sleeping. He realized how Ken's clothes didn't change since he last met him at the office.
"Ah yes yes, Mr. Ajero! Is there something wrong?"
"It's about my boss? I saw him passed out by the stairs when I went into his mansion. I already brought him in his room and seems to be sleeping fine but I'm still worried if he's physically okay."
