When Stell thought his life couldn't even get weirder it did.

Something is definitely wrong He thought to himself, staring at the alpha in front of him. The two just finished holding a meeting, leaving the two of them inside the conference room. Ken is busy with his call and Stell decided to clean up the papers on the table, stacking them up one by one.

Until he felt arms sliding around his waist from behind.

The beta panicked. "SIR-! W-we're in the middle of work!!-" he half-shouted, quickly pulling his boss' arms away but Ken resisted.

"Relax, I locked the door." He muttered, nuzzling himself on Stell's nape. While the older gasped at the contact.

He's at it again Stell cried.

The following days became unbearable for Stell. He couldn't remember when he noticed it, but Ken's hugs are clearly increasing and becoming riskier. The younger man would find any opportunity he can get just to smell him and every time he does, the beta would almost have a heart attack.

"Can't you wait until we get to your office? The employees might see us."

The younger tightened his hug and shook his head, while Stell could only sigh in return. He decided to touch Ken's head, tapping it lightly.

"Just three minutes." He said and continued piling the papers. The man didn't hear another word from his boss.

He decided to move his head and check on the younger one. His face planted on his shoulder. The older could feel Ken's deep breathing, it concerned him.

"Did you take your medicine? Or is your rut near?"

He didn't hear an answer, and he repeated. "Are you okay sir?" The moment he asked, Ken's arms gripped his waist.

"Just tired." He whispered and inhaled deeply. Stell couldn't see the alpha's face and detect if there was something wrong. He could only let him be, at least help him be comforted.

Both of them are getting too comfortable with each other. The beta thought. But Stell ended up not hating it he felt at ease every time they embrace each other.

It scares him. To be used to it.

Things like this were never permanent.

But he couldn't leave him. He realized money isn't the issue anymore. Why couldn't he leave him? Just like what Adelaide advises?

"Something is wrong with me. Really"

Stell thought that was the only obstacle he'll face this week. But another one came.

One afternoon, Josh visited the company again. This time without his assistant. As usual, the beta greeted him.

"Good afternoon sir Santos. Unfortunately, sir Suson is not in the office. Should I call him for your presence?"

The omega shook his head, his hands slid into his pockets. "No. I'll wait."

"Are you sure? He might take a while."

"It's okay. It's not important."

Stell's lip twitch. This will be awkward.

It did. For the last thirty minutes, Josh has been standing in front of him, staring in silence that the beta couldn't focus on his work. The looks were too piercing that he couldn't help but notice it.

The younger decided to talk. "Do you want a seat? Sir Suson's office is open. You can sit inside while you wait-"

The older man cut him. "Do you like Persimmons?"
