The three of them walked out and I just continued feeding Oswald

Phil's point of view*
That was one of the most awkward encounters I have ever had with a civilian. Usually they fanboy and say how much they look up to me or even straight out ignore me but this one just made fun of the top three heroes with no hesitation. And Wilbur is still frozen because of what happen but at least he's walking.
"Father Crow, can we come here as civilians at some point?" Techno said, which confused me.
"Why would you willingly put yourself in a social situation?" He stayed silent for a few seconds.
"He has to be a criminal or at least have a powerful ability like mind control. He passed Wilbur while he was fighting The Neon God and neither of them noticed that he took Dream's hostage, which was a seven month old. Now the baby is in his cafe. He was even talking about having another child named Clementine. We might be dealing with a psychopath who kidnaps children and keeps them as his own. He even said that this Clementine went to the police station and reported herself as kidnapped by him. He also looked extremely tired and I don't think that he's just an owner of a cafe!"
"If we get the report of the kidnap and the kid with him, then I think that it's sufficient evidence to at least get him ten years since he's still a kid. I want to keep the kids safe however we don't know if he has powers or is a villain, so we have to leave this to the police and we can't do anything until it is confirmed that he has an ability. I'm sorry Techno."
He huffs and I feel guilty, but it's true, we can't help unless the situation involves someone using their ability. It sucks and at the same time it's fair because if we do their jobs then our work will pile up and if they were to do our jobs then they would die.
With this rule they can do their jobs and we can do ours. It's also a little bit more fair for the powerless criminals because they have a possibility of dying if we attack them.
The good thing is that if a situation is to hard for the police to handle and if they are either powerless or it is unknown, a hero is able to deal with it. It's just that a high level hero is unable to do it in fear of the criminal dying, which has happened before.
I hope the police are able to solve this quickly and no one gets injured because Techno will not let me live it down if I don't help them and a child ends up dying.
The best case scenario is that he isn't really kidnapping them and he's just taking care of kids who are on the street as a nice person but I know that that's a stretch. No one can be that nice and if they are then it's all a lie.
Yes, I took two children off the streets too, but it was because I was lonely and needed someone to talk to and hoped that I could train them as well.
I do things with secret motives and I believe everyone else does too. An example is that I became a hero to make my ex jealous, and the thought of civilians wasn't in my mind. I know it was a stupid move, but at least I didn't wreck her car.
That's what my wife did the second I told her I got cheated on.
To this day I still have no clue how she found out her name, address, and number. Nor do I know where the fuck she got a chainsaw.
That woman is sweet, but can turn evil at the drop of a hat.
