Summer's Pov

"We're staying at a house that someone else is already staying in?!" I asked Hanna as soon as I found them standing on the beach in awe.

"What?!" She turned around and removed her big ass sunglasses. She's the only white girl in the group but besides her skin, you couldn't tell. She had more soul than most black girls I ever met and she's loyal as hell too.

"There's a girl, a really pretty girl in our kitchen and she's practically naked!" I yelped.

"Okay, well you could have left that part out. I don't wanna know she was naked." She laughed as Ashleigh and Treasure came back up from dipping their toes in the salt water.

The wind picked up and started blowing through my braids, a shiver covered my arms and Brody that my attention towards the cloudless sky.

It felt like Ana was with us too as I looked out at the ocean.

I had never been this close to the water before. It was calming but I couldn't get lost in the moment because like I said, there was a girl in our house!

"She cute?" Treasure laughed but Ash didn't. She punched her in the gut and leveled a glare at her girlfriend.

"Get slapped if you want to."

"Damn, I was just kiddin'." Treasure reached for her stomach and doubled over in fake pain.

"I'm glad you guys think I'm joking but I'm not." I said, pointing in the direction of the beach house.

"Obviously there's a misunderstanding. Let's go check it out." Hanna grabbed my arm and led us towards the house.

I was so distracted by the exotic mystery in her panties, I didn't have time to look around.

"Where is she?" Hanna asked when we got in the house. When I went to open the other door in the kitchen and saw it was locked, I frowned.

I knocked once and then twice before Hanna and Ashleigh lost their patience at the same time and started banging harder.

Finally, the door swung open and I think my heart stopped beating the minute my eyes landed on the girl on the other side of the door.

She was so damn pretty, no. She was gorgeous with slanted eyes, perfect eyebrows and she had the cutest pointy ears.

I almost smiled until I saw the scowl she was wearing.

"What are you doin' in our Airbnb?!" Hanna asked with a little too much attitude.

"Yours? I rented this place for a week. Pretty sure y'all are at the wrong address." Her voice was smooth and alluring.

Ash scoffed and said "The fuckin' ghetto."

As my eyes traveled up her body again, Treasure watched me eye this girl and I had no shame.

She was definitely something to look at.

"Ready to come out the closet?" Ash whispered and smiled at me mockingly.

"I'm gon' call and see what the fuck is goin' on 'cause this is the right address. I'm not stupid." Hanna rolled her eyes and disappeared to one of the three rooms in the house that was apparently bigger than we thought.

Oohh my god." The girl groaned, clearly annoyed.

I looked past her, peering into the room she was in. It was living room. It looked completely different from ours. Slightly smaller, turquoise, blue and tan.

I realized it was super quiet on her side.

"Is anybody over there with you?" I asked, looking at her again.

At this point she was on her phone typing away. Probably cussing out the Air bnb renter in a chat.

She looked up at me. "No. And I was hoping nobody would be here at all." She said passive aggressively.

It made me smile, the way her lip curled up into a half snarl, half pout.

Ash and Treasure walked off to explore the rest of the house while I stood, leaning against the gray door connecting the house together.

"What's your name?" I asked the girl now wearing black leggings and a cute purple sports bra.

"Diamond." She said, looking at me briefly before going back to her phone with a frown.

"I'm Summer. The white girl is Hanna, the string bean is Treasure. And the short one, is Ashleigh."

Diamond pushed her lips into a tight line and nodded.

Well damn.

I turned my back and went to look around a little myself. I was impressed with the teal color scheme in the bedroom where my luggage sat but I liked Ash and Treasure's room more.

It was white with a navy blue accented wall and a king sized bed with a plain blue comforter instead of the pink, purple and yellow floral blanket on my queen sized bed.

My favorite part of the entire house though was the bathroom connected to my room.

There was a glass walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub that I wanted to get in as soon as we got this situation with Diamond figured out.

"Soooooo...where y'all at?" Hanna called out from the hallway.

"In here." I yelled back.

"So, most we can do is get a hotel if that girl don't wanna leave."

"That's what they said? Wait, who is they anyway?" Ash asked and plopped down on my ugly bed.

"Yup. The owner, obviously. Soooooo....what do y'all wanna do? 'Cause I'm ready to get lit and see what South Carolina got out here and this shit is takin' too much time." Hanna asked, folding her arms to express the attitude on her shoulders.

"You meeting somebody out here?" I asked, standing up to follow her into the living room.

"We're on vacation. I'm just tryna have fun." She said.

If I don't know nothing else, I know when my best friend lying to me. Hanna is always meeting a some dude she met on Tinder.

"I'm not tryna go to no hotel. This is nice." Ash said as she sat on the couch next to Treasure.

"Yeah, plus Diamond's cute so it's not that big of a deal." I spoke my mind a little too easily.

"Oh, you know her name already, huh?" Ashleigh laughed and made me smile.

I'm glad Diamond appeared in the doorway a second later before I had a chance to dig myself in a hole I knew they wouldn't let me get out of. She bit her lip and ran a hand through her hair and then rolled her eyes when she saw me looking at her.

"You couldn't do nothing about it either?" Hanna asked Diamond.

"Nope." She shook her head. "Just keep the noise down. I came here for a reason."

"Ooouuuh, girl we tryna have a good time." Ash instigated.

"Respectfully, keep it down." Diamond said and then closed the door.

"Girl, anyways." Hanna snapped her fingers. "Let's go get turrrnttt!"
