Summer's Pov

Diamond was so unique to me. And beautiful.

My God, she's perfect.

I didn't want her to stop playing the little beach guitar, as she called it, because it was pretty and the light sound made me feel close to Ana. Like she was sitting on the opposite couch wearing a big, excited smile from hearing the exotic looking goddess playing beautiful music.

When she put the ukulele down in her lap, Hanna lifted another blunt and handed it to Diamond.

"You're a bad ass bitch. I like you. You're different." She smiled as Diamond lit the blunt.

How can she be so pretty?

"Oh, thanks." Diamond chuckled.

I love the way her pretty brown skin stands out against the white tank top she's wearing and all I want to do is run my fingers over her exposed skin.

Damn. I'm high as fuck.

Hanna started rolling another blunt when the one in rotation finally made its way to me.

"Damnnnn, girl I'm high as a kiteeee." Ashleigh whined, sitting with her head in Treasure's lap. She looked stuck and her eyes were so low, they looked closed.

"Bitch, and? I told y'all I was gon get y'all high. And best friend said she ain't tryna feel her face soooo."

I passed the blunt to Diamond and admired her glossy, bloodshot eyes as they lingered over me slowly.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone as pretty as her.

And my God, with her hair up in a high bun, I can't stop myself from smiling at her cute pointy ears.

I forced myself to stop staring and put a slice of pizza on my plate. After that, everyone else decided to eat too.

So we didn't end up smoking again until our bellies were full, thirty minutes later. It was close to 11pm when I glanced at my phone.

I looked up and caught Diamond gazing at me and I swear I felt my heart stop beating completely.

I clicked on our text thread and began typing out a message to her.

I read the message and a chuckle slipped out. Aww, she got jokes. That's cute.

"Hell nah, it's feelin' a lil' too gay in this bitch for me. I'm probably gonna bounce." Hanna said and stood to her feet.

I laughed and so did Ashleigh.

"Where you goin'?" Ashleigh asked and sat up from Treasure's lap.

"Bitch, mind yo business. I'm tryna be boo'd up like everybody else, shit. Don't wait up for me. Bye Diamond. Thanks for not takin' anything personal. You're cool."

After everyone bid their farewells, it was just me, Diamond, Ash and Treasure sitting in the living room and it was so quiet, I think they could all hear how loud my heart was thumping.

"Babyyyyy, I'm tryna fuckkkk." Ash didn't try to lower her voice when she leaned into Treasure's arms. She was past lot, she was fried.

Treasure's cheeks darkened. The smile she gave Ash covered my skin in little tiny goosebumps. I could see the love she had for my best friend and that made me like her even more.

"Well guys, gotta blast!" Treasure said through a grin as she picked Ashleigh up bridal style.

"You better get that kiss, girl." Ash smirked from her girlfriends string beans for arms.
