High School Days

Chapter seven

Gray Pov
I wonder if the boys can watch the girls tryout for cheer...
Me and my friend Loke are walking down the hall when I see a familiar frantic blond coming my way. She runs past us. I clearly see now that she's trying out for the cheer team. I snicker at her and keep walking. "That was one hot blond.." Loke says. I don't know why but that kinda pissed me off a little. I try to ignore Loke and walk ahead of him.
When we get to the football field basically all boys in the school were watching the girls. As I sit down I hear a few whispers. "Did you see that blond girl?" "Dang her rack though.." It took every once of self control not to punch them. I sighed and just focused on the girls. My eyes fall on Lucy and I have to admit she's pretty good. Her high kicks are amazing and her flips are good too.
Once they were done for the day all the boys left except for me. I was waiting on Lucy so I can walk her home. She comes to the bleachers and punches me in the arm. "Ow!" I yell. She just pouts. "It's not good to stare at people! It makes them feel uneasy! I could have messed up!" She says but she's smiling and is trying not to laugh. I smile and stand up. "Well I couldn't help myself you looked good out there." I say. Then I realized what I said and blushed. Lucy's face was the color of a tomato. We stand there in awkward silence for a minute. "Sorry.." I muttered. I clear my throat. "Let's just get home..." I say and grab her hand and start walking. We walk in an uncomfortable silence for awhile until Lucy breaks it. "Gray why do you walk me home?" She says. I smile and turn to look at her. "Because I want to make sure you get home safely." At this she blushes and I chuckle at her. When we get to her house I stop her before she goes in. "L-Lucy..." I say blushing. "I was wondering if you would like to hangout with me tomorrow.." I say looking down blushing. I hear her giggle and pull my head up. "Sure Gray. When will you pick me up?" She says with a smile on her face. I smile back. "I'll pick you up at 12 o'clock!" I say. The next thing she does shock me. She leans in and kiss me on the cheek. My mouth dropped. Before I can say anything she winks at me then walks into her house. I run my fingers through my hair and smile. I practically run home with a goofy smile on my face.

Lucy's Pov
Once I'm inside the house I lean on the door and blush. I did two things wrong. One I said yes to a date. Two I kissed Gray on the cheek. Ok I don't regret it but I know if Juvia finds out I'm dead! I sigh and walk to my room. I lay down on my bed and stare into space. I hate to admit..but I think I have a small crush on Gray Fullbuster. Well how bad can it be? It's just a small crush.

Juvia's Pov
So love rival and Gray-sama are going on a date? This means war...
