Something Different

Chapter 9: Time.

Maylin's POV:
Once we got outside we saw Arnold leaning sideways against the wall. While angrily speaking to the recipient , I feel sorry for their soul.

But he didn't acknowledge us and we continued walking as usual. Susan had an extra fast bitchy pace . But as usual I careless, i noticed one thing as we continued walking.

But something weird was happening like, wherever we pass everyone was greeting me. Like as long as i passed somebody had to greet me.

Maybe its because of what jasmine said, she said that being the only one able to cure the 'impossible  patient' people had to give me respect. And also she overheard that Babu asked them to give me full respect?

I slid that thought away. And finally reached the pharmacy as we entered inside I got all the needed materials and medicines, plus extra supplies for emergency and then when I wanted to leave the bitch finally spoke up,

"So how do you feel now?" I looked at her. What does she actually mean?

"I don't know what you mean." She scoffed and said,

"Stop playing innocent bitch , I do know your tricks."

"And what may they be if I may ask." That earned me an eye roll.

"Ask yourself."

"I don't have any tricks in my head so if you'll excuse me. These stuff are super heavy and-" She came out of nowhere she came fast towards me and weird considering she's wearing heals. And then gripped my elbow so hard. I looked at her,

"Im going to turn you in in defense of violence." She rolled her eyes again at me. Its not like I can't do anything I'm in a tight position. She gave me everything and all the supplies slumped on my hands not making me able to clear everything properly. And I don't wanna drop anything,

"Get your freaking hands off me !" She raised a brow at me and finally let go, I looked at my arm , she let her nails sink in. I now have marks , shit!. I hope no one sees this , as I try to cover up her actions. Then she took out a piece of paper and managed to keep it on one of my hands. And she said,

"You should tots read it."

"You should tots go to hell." And she smirked at me. This felt weird so i just left after many failed attempts of opening the door without help from the bitch herself.

I had to do fast but I'm really eager to read it , so I managed to walk fast while opening that small death trap in form of paper. It read,

"If you dare touch him! I'll make sure your in a mortuary next. He's my boyfriend ." I rolled my eyes at her choice of words and that's when I just had the luck of bumping into someone very hard . Making everything in arms flying out everywhere, and the guy didn't fall but had the audacity to let me fall on my generous behind.

"Ouch!,' I said while scratching my head then I said, 'whats your problem?" I finally looked up seeing the one person I didn't want to see. He didn't budge then he said,

"If you were actually looking where your going this could be easily avoided. Its because of your incompetence and clumsiness that this shit happened." He proclaimed looking at the mess. Seeing that he wouldn't budge I sighed and slowly stood up then started picking up my stuff.

But it was so difficult should I tell you why? Well today I was too lazy to tie my hair so I kept in in a loose very loose messy bun and with the impact my hairband went flying to I don't know where. So my wild curls are just free and a big disturbance to me.

Because I have to usually try to keep I behind my ears but it doesn't stay. And I end up doing stuff less faster. Like now my long curls being an obstacle made me to occupied with trying to tame it than actually picking up the stuff fast. But eventually I did it.

Once I reached Babu's door. The guy had the audacity to speak.

"Are you forgetting this?" He raised a hand up showing my hairband and the other showing Susan's note . Shit! I mentally face palmed myself.

He started coming closer to me and before he could do anything I said,

"Did you read it?" We held eye contact he didn't say anything but his silence gave me the answer . So I said,

"I don't need accusations so just forget about it and give me my stuff back." He weirdly agreed but still held on to the hair band I gave him a look but he went behind me and started touching my hair I said,

"The fuck what do you think-"

"Shut up and relax, you'll take longer with your hair getting in the way."

"But-"

"Shut up Maylin." And I did,  He was so gentle with my hair, just trying to remove the slight tangles and in the process making sure to massage my head a bit. Keeping my hair well and just kept it in a  not so tight and not so loose ponytail. He actually did a good job. But I'm not gonna give him the satisfaction , so I kept a straight face. once he was done.i didn't even want to turn to him but he did the weirdest. He opened the door?

But my question was soon answered by Babu expectant eyes once the door was opened. Now I understand why he did that. Because even when he opened the door but left me with all the stuff he was still scolded like a kid for being ungentleman . Well I'm with Babu on that Its true.

After some arguments between them I was finally done packing Babu's essentials to change the office to his house. Then I looked at him and the scowl he had with Arnold disappeared to a wonderful smile.

"Done?" He asked, I nodded then he said,

"Good , now there's something else I didn't tell you."

"What's that?" I asked

"Your moving into my mansion." Fuck no..........
