Chapter 15: Thanksgiving.

Maylin's POV:

After that whole incident. I never went back to Baby's house unless I'm told that he wasn't around the house.

Babu tried so hard to ask me but why I'm doing it but i just gave him a short answer. I don't think if everyone is supposed to know what actually happened. So I kept it to myself and started pre occupying my mind with work and building my business more.

Ive been too occupied that I've even got the chance to meet up with high professional business men. Because my business is actually involved in export - import business.

And most business men are getting problems to get reliable places and I'm told my business has ranked number one best for reliable services and quality services as well. I'm so happy.

Once I told Babu the news he was hectic, he even got some champagne to celebrate and we did it ourselves because i didn't want alot of people to know.

We celebrated a bit then I had to leave. I kissed him goodbye and left, as usual I went to the one on the counter.

"Hi Gill." He smiled at me and said,

"Hey Lin the usual."

"What else would i want." And he chuckled at my outburst. And went to get my strawberry cheesecake with my favorite mango avocado juice.

Today I wore a simple a button up white shirt with long sleeves with a pencil skirt. And pulling up my beautiful wedges to go with my whole look. And my hair I straightened some part of it and left the rest. I just kept a normal smallish red ribbon to complement my red lip gloss and I had some mascara on. Just making my eyes look even more hot.

It feels nice doing good stuff for yourself at least once in a while. I need this , after that incident three weeks ago im trying so hard to forget him and stop thinking about him .

"Maylin?" And I turned around,

"Damien?" He looked me up, and smiled. That's when i noticed the jerk right next to him. He had a blank face at me. Just stoic as usual.

"Well I didn't know a cute lady like you would be here."

"Why not? I love Gill's place the food is divine just to die for , you should tots try it."

"I am dont worry that's why I dragged the jerk with me so that he could try it for himself. Instead of being stuck in his office." That's when Arnold actually looked at me , again with his eyes holding an emotion i cant decipher. But I looked away not wanting him to get the satisfaction. But honestly he's hot in anything he wears, I'm crazy i know.

I then turned back to the counter since Gill said my order was ready. I took it from him after paying then said,

"Thanks Gill." And he smiled back and said with a wink,

"Anything for you Lin." I smiled then Damien said,

"I'm proud knowing that I got a hot friend." I really quirked an eyebrow at him,

"Excuse me , look who's talking." He smirked.

"So you find me hot?"

"Your words not mine Romeo." I took my leave while sipping my drink , just heaven on earth . Arnold didn't actually do anything nothing like I didn't expect.

After some finishing touches I was done with my newest work. Then Babu texted me ,

"Thanksgiving this Sunday, you coming right?"

"Babu I wanted to go to Michigan to my family." He texted right back.

"Please linny I would be so sad, I even planned the whole sitting system."
