Chapter 16: So she's icy.

Maylin's P.O.V

"Shoot."

"First kiss." And then I answered.

"Highschool."

"Duh, I mean age dummy." And Ari rolled her eyes at me.

"Umm , 18 I think." And her mouth was open in shock.

"What?"

"With all that beauty you got it that late."

"Huh?"

"Your so beautiful I wonder why you got your first kiss late, or where you not into having a boyfriend?"

"I dont know I was busy."

"With what?!"

"I don't know" and she just nodded and pushed herself against the comforter.

Then I flicked around some channels , Ari came to my apartment to chill out these few days and it's been a blast.

We talked about everything and everyone , she said me being here makes it much more fun for her to stay in America. Sadly she'll stay here for two more months and leave. She's been very hectic to know more about me and I'm very happy for our friendship.

"So one more question." She said now facing me completely.

"What?" I said while following her actions.

"My family is opening up a new club , bar whatever you choose to call it. And the grand opening is next week, please come with me." She said while giving me the puppy eyes.

"But I planned something for next week."

"Come on Lin , please I'm not saying I don't like clubs or whatever but I'll need some support a bit."

"With what?"

"Well I know for a fact I'll have the luck of meeting one of my ex boyfriends and I don't have the strength to start fighting with someone. Please I need some girl support, and it's only a club for the rich high delegates."

"You don't say." I said while sipping my drink.

"Yeah come on, what type of friend doesn't give support to her friend . Pleaseee with cherries on top ."

"Okay just text me when and I'll slide it in my schedule." After that statement she pulled me in a bone crushing hug. She's pretty strong I guess her small frame isn't supposed to be messed with.

"Your the best." And she went back shouting at the male lead for not being smart enough. Typical Ari.

.......      NEXT WEEK      ......

I'm almost done with my shift at the library and tomorrow it's the day for the grand opening, it turns out it's a big event. Which again I didn't know about , man am I that out of date.

It was near closing time so I started closing in some books, storing in new packages. And again if your wondering why am I working here . Let's say I'm here for a Friend.

And I'm in love with reading, it's just interesting to me, so I couldn't say no when the offer was given out to me. You can't blame a girl who loves to read.

After 20 minutes, I'll finally close. As I was finishing my last chapter of the alchemist, a customer came. That's weird no one comes at this hour , it's almost seven pm so yes I'm shocked.

I looked up, it was this guy I've never seen before, he had curly black hair and tanned skin looked kinda Spanish to me.

"Hi, I'm Andre I'm looking for a book concerning psychology." I'm just staring at him at the moment.
