Chapter4:Money Talks

Maylin's POV:

I got up as early as everyday. Got my bath, and i decided to leave my wild curls without any barrier. Like i left them loose.

It feels nice letting your hair down. I got My hot tea which really wakes me up in the morning. Sometimes coffee doesn't really make me awake. And i dont know why but who cares.

Im leaving now. With my lovely car, I finally reach the hospital, get my uniform and finally go to my sweet Babu.

I open the door slowly and find him awake , setting up our board game well one amongst our many board games.

"Hey Babu."

"Hey linny." And he came and hugged me . It feels nice , so secure. I love his hugs. Then we separate.

"So what game have you prepared?"

"Oh it's a maze game."

"Is it new ?" Coz I've never seen it before.

"Yup my son brought it to me. "

"Oh good , then let's play." Ever since I told Babu I love playing board games every day he would have a new type of game. And they looked super expensive but I'm not complaining he seems like he's enjoying the games so I'm just letting it go.

I just don't want him to get into costs because of me. We play a bit , he wins several times and I loose several times. And at last it's 10-1

And you can guess who is the one .

"Babu , I think we should have a little break. You must be tired of winning so much." Or let's say I'm tired of loosing so much.

"Sure, anything you want linny." And we agreed to do something that we both can be winners at, watching avengers. Honestly I didn't know he loved watching these movies. I thought he would love those oldies movies but he actually is an up to date grandfather.

I decided to have my lunch with him, coz he insisted alot. Saying he doesn't eat lunch with me.

"So Linny can you tell me about your business?" I looked at him, I've noticed that whenever he's talking about business even on the phone he's expression changes into a serious one. I guess years of being a business man does that to you.

"Oh it's a simple company. Involving transportation of goods to and from . Like a type of exchange place." He nodded.

"And how much do you need exactly?"

"Babu , you know I can pay off my bills right you don't need to-"

"I never said I'm going to help you pay, I'm just asking how much your going to pay as an extra amount."

"Oh like 2000USD extra."

"I see." And he was silent for the rest of the lunch. I finished my lunch and started talking about this movie with him till he was done . We removed the plates and went for another walk since its like an hour till his son comes get him.

As we were walking I can tots see the looks on people's faces. Like some have a hatred face. Others an admiring face . While the rest only have lust covered on their faces. Disgusting how people undress you with their eyes. Maybe I shouldn't have left my curls out.

"Linny I had to say . I love how curly your hair is." Aaw Babu is just a sweetheart I think I know how his wife fell for him .

"Thankyou Babu I appreciate it."

"Is it always like that?"

"I'm half black it's always gonna be like this." And he smiled at me and said,
