Chapter 23: Before the Big Show

After about three & a half months touring the United States & getting loads of rest, One Direction & Fifth Harmony were now ready for the next leg of the We Stand Together tour, which would happen in Europe starting in London.

As both groups made their way to the UK, the guys were very excited to be home. Harry, Niall, Zayn. Liam, & Louis hadn't seen their families in a long time so they were all very anxious.

For Ally and Camila, this was nerve-wrecking for them because even through they had each talked to Harry & Zayn's families via Skype, this was going to be the first time they would each be meeting the families in person even though their relationships were on very solid ground.

As for Lauren & Liam, their relationship was strong, but there was one problem.

Even though they were very much in love, Liam hadn't said those three little words to her yet. His reason? Fear.

As Dinah, she was curious about something ever since the concert in New York, & she knew just the person to talk to on the subject.

That person was Niall.

Ever since she had spotted Louis & Normani getting cozy with each other on stage, Dinah had been wondering what had been going on between those two. She figured Niall might have an idea as to what that was.

So on the plane to London, Dinah found herself sitting next to Niall in the flight. She decided to go for it & talk to him.

"Do you think something is going on with Lou & Mani?" she asked. "Why do you ask that, DJ?" asked Niall. "Something I saw in New York during the MSG show," said Dinah. Niall just nodded.

"Did they look comfy together?" asked Niall. Dinah nodded. Then she got her answer.

"They didn't want us to know about it, but there is something going on between them," said Niall. Dinah looked at him in surprise.

"Why didn't they say something about it?" asked Dinah. "Lou was upfront with us guys about it," said Niall. "I'm guessing that Normani is unsure about telling you girls." All Dinah could do was nod.

Sure, Normani had dealt with her relationship with Dinah's cousin Thomas ending badly, but she didn't expect her bandmate/friend to be so sneaky especially when it came to love.

Still, Dinah needed to tell the others & confront Normani about what was going on.

However, she would have to wait because as soon as the plane landed in London, it was time to work.

After checking into their hotels and taking a nap, both groups went to work. There were TV interviews, radio interviews, and each were scheduled to perform on the finale of the UK X Factor.

Before that happened, Harry took Ally to his hometown of Holme's Chapel, Cheshire to meet his family while Zayn took Camila to his hometown of Bradford, Yorkshire to meet his.

While that was happening, Dinah noticed Normani with Louis at one of the hotel restaurants & couldn't help but be curious.

They were whispering silly things to each other & laughing as they enjoyed Earl Grey tea and apple-cinnamon scones. They were also holding hands, & Normani had her head on Louis's shoulder.

While Dinah thought it was cute, it bothered her at the same time. That was only because this possible romance had come out of left field.

Still, she knew that she needed to talk to her friend, and she finally got her chance when she & Normani were in an elevator alone as they made their way to their rooms.

"Can I ask you something, Mani?" asked Dinah. "Sure, DJ," said Normani. "What's the deal with you & Louis?" asked Dinah.

Normani was in shock. She had had no idea that Dinah had noticed. However, she knew that she had to confess so she did.

"It's true. Louis & I are together," said an embarressed Normani. "What were you scared of? That we woudl judge you guys?" asked Dinah. Normani just nodded.

Dinah hugged her friend. "You know us better then that, Mani. None of us would judge you or Louis," she said reassuringly. "You sure about that, DJ?" asked Normani. "Very sure. If you & Louis are in love, I'm happy for you," said Dinah. "Thanks, DJ," said Normani with a smile.

As both girls made their way to their rooms, the conversation went to more girly topics that had both girls giggling.

Things were good.
