Chapter 2: The Announcement

As Simon got himself seated behind his desk, Fifth Harmony waited nervously & eagerly for whatever it was he had to tell them that was so important.

Ally Brooke, the oldest of the group, seemed more curious & more eager then the others. She just wanted to know.

As soon as he was seated, Simon looked at the girls carefully. He knew that this news would change everything for them.

Then it started.

"What's going on, Simon?" asked Normani Hamilton. "Is something wrong?" asked Lauren Jauregui. "Tell us," said Dinah Jane Hansen. Camila Cabello just nodded while Ally Brooke leaned forward in her seat and stared right at Simon, who then took a deep breath.

"I have something very important that some people want me to tell you," said Simon. "What is it?" asked Ally who was feeling herself start to shake.

"Well, I got a phone call from these people," said Simon. "What people?" asked Dinah.

That's when it happened.

"One Direction," said Simon. Fifth Harmony all gasped with excitement especially Camila.

"What do they want?" asked Lauren whose nerves were beginning to get to her. Simon gave her and the girls the answer.

"They would love to have you girls go out on tour with them," he said with a smile and braced himself for the reaction.

It was what he had expected it to be. The girls jumped up & down & screamed. This was incredible. All Simon could do was laugh.

Both One Direction & Fifth Harmony were very supportive of each other. They followed each other on Twitter and had become great friends. For the girls to go out on the road with the biggest boy band ever was something they had only dreamed about, and it was going to be coming true.

Sure, acheiving their first two number one hit singles, "BO$$" and their cover of the Girls Aloud hit "Sound of The Underground", had been amazing, but this was definitely something else.

The girls ran over to Simon & bear-hugged him. He was finally happy to give the girls the news because it felt like a load had been lifted from his shoulders.

"I'm sorry that I had to fly you girls out here to London on such short ntice, but I just had to tell you all in person," said Simon. "That's OK, Simon. We understand," said a smiling Ally.

After that, the girls were off to Heathrow Airport to head back to Miami, where all five were now living after having lived in Los Angeles for 2 years. Simon promised to have One Dreiction be in contact with them as soon as possible.

Everything was about to get exciting.
