Chapter 9: Music Video Magic

After working out all of the details from the story to the wardrobe, Fifth Harmony and One Direction were on location on Paradise Island in the Bahamas getting ready to shoot their music video for "We Stand Together". It was very exciting.

The location was perfect. Both groups were staying at a prviate home on a beautiful beach with an amazing view of the ocean. There was also something else that was there that was very important: security.

Simon Cowell had gone out of his way to help keep the music video shoot a secret by hiring the best security company in the UK to go to the Bahamas and keep the set as closed off as possible from any prying eyes.  Both groups as well as the video director, John Urbano, were grateful.

As everyone got ready for what would be around one to two days of shooting, no one had any idea just how hot things would get on the set.

The hotness began when Zayn walked over to the trailer where stylists for both groups were working. It was there that he saw something unexpected.

He saw Camila getting some help tying on the top part of her zebra-stripped bikini. It was unbelievable to him. 

In a good way, of course.

Sure, Zayn had thought that Camila was very pretty, but seeing her in this bikini made him see her differently. He now saw her as a very sexy, very beautiful woman. He thought that as he soaked in the sight of her.

Meanwhile, Liam was ready for his scenes with Lauren. They had become close as they spent more time together. However, despite her growing feelings for him, she didn't want to take advantage of him because of his breakup with Sophia Smith. Liam had feelings for Lauren as well, but he didn't want to hurt her. 

Not far from where Liam & Lauren were, Harry & Ally were ready for their scenes, which were taking place on a yacht. Their relationship had grown deeper, & they were very comfortable with each other, which made filming their scenes much easier.

As the director got himself ready, he started with Zayn & Camila, whom he had paired up because he felt that they would have great chemistry.

Turns out he was more then right.

As they started lip syncing to the first words of the chorus, Zayn felt himself fighting this urge to kiss Camila, but when he mouth the words "You & me, we stand together", he couldn't help himself.

Zayn gave her one hell of a kiss.

Camila was shocked beyond belief. She had no idea why he was kissing her, but she found herself liking it.

The director, however, didn't like it.

"CUT!!!" he yelled. Zayn & Camila stopped kissing & looked at him, fearing the worst.

"Was that originally a part of the scene?" Urbano asked. "No, sir, it wasn't," said Camila fearfully. Zayn put his arm around her protectively.

"Listen, John, just let us do this. Let's keep it fun, OK?" said Zayn calmly. John Urbano just nodded,  clearly understanding what Zayn meant.

When filming resumed, everything began to go well. Zayn & Camila kissed again, & this time the director didn't object. In fact, he enjoyed it very much.

In fact, he came to the realization that pairing Zayn & Camila up was a brilliant move.

The rest of the shoot, however, was another story.
