The Last Archon

In the middle of a battle with the Houkais, a wormhole suddenly appeared in the sky, it's dark and bluish. All of us were staring at the warp, with confused expressions.

And those Houkais were kinda frightened after seeing the hole, which they ran away from the place.

"Inchou, What is that warp? Is it Sirin again?" Kiana started to question me.

"No.... It shouldn't be here...." I'm confused. This is bad. But how? Why are they here....? Tch.

Gritted over my nervousness.... I decided to forfeit temporarily, I can't imagine if it turns out to be much stronger than the Houkai.

"For now, we have to retreat." I ordered Kiana and Y/N to fall back.

"Wait, Inchou! Why are we not attacking it?" Kiana still questions over her concern.

"You'll just give them access. For now, leave the area." I repeated.

They just nodded, and walked away, while I'm still watching at that blue hole.

Something is flashing in my pocket. I took it out....

It's been a long time.... my friend. Another memory that remains intact.

Is it trying to tell something....?

All of our crews are monitoring the wormhole, waiting for any results from the professors.

"A blue wormhole. Looks eerily similar to the Void's black hole, but this is not hers." Principal murmurs of the hole.

"There's no doubt, this is in fact a thing that is meant to not exist. The energy readings are quite noticeable, even though this is not from Honkai Energy." Dr. Einstein explains the description.

"I can't tell for sure if they're much worse than those Honkai mobs, so just prepare for the unexpected." Continued with Dr. Tesla.

Bitter face forming on me.... Why did they come here?

The meeting continues, and I can only remain quiet, and if someone questions me, I pretend that I don't know.

After the meeting was finished, I asked Y/N to come out and observe together that dormant wormhole, on the rooftop of a building.

Without a word, I gave him my most important item, have him take a look closely. It's still flashing non-stop.

"This flashing rook. What's this?" Y/N is holding the rook-alike item, and inspecting it.

"That's a Gnosis. Perhaps, it's signaling something." That's right, that rook-alike piece chess is a Gnosis. It's only a collectible item, not the real deal.

"What do you mean by signaling? Like that wormhole there?" said Y/N.

"I thought it's just a collectible that I would keep as a collection. But, I didn't think that it flashes on its own ...."

"Where do you get this?"

"Keep this between both of us only, okay? That's the reason why I asked you to come with me." I trusted him already, and he's the person that simply I admire over his heart.

"Ohh.... Alright, Alright." I knew he wouldn't spill it, and I smiled at him affectionately.

"It's from my old friend of mine.... Zhongli."

"Another one? I thought you no longer remember any of your past."

"Hmm, if it's something like Lixue, then my memory still remains intact. I used to travel to a world, where one can be granted a power of elements from Gods, or in their interpretation, the Archons. It's plural, because there's at least 7 Gods in that world. One who inherited the element powers, received an item called Vision."
