Really Late Easter special

Easter at the Taylor's house, general POV:

"Happy Easter!" Max shouted throughout the house. Rex groaned in embarrassment. "Max, could you stop shouting? It's hurting everyone's ears."

"Why? Everyone should know it's easter."

"I think everyone knows already..." Rex groaned.

"I hope the Easter bunny got us some eggs!"

Soon everyone was awake and Max's mum made them breakfast. Then she got out an empty basket. "Boys, I want you to go on an egg hunt, but Zoe's also coming soon. There are 30 eggs hidden for you, so you get ten each, they're hidden all over the house"

"Awesome, we get ten Easter eggs each! I just hope they're big ones" Max sighed.

There was a knock on the door. "It's Zoe, I'll go open it" he said.

"Hi guys, happy Easter!" Zoe exclaimed. "Am I on time for the hunt?"

"Yes! This will be fun!" Said Max excitedly.

"Good luck in finding them!" Said Max's mum, leaving Max Rex and Zoe scamper all over the house, Chomp, Ace and Paris also.

Soon Zoe had found 7, and the others only had 3.

"This takes forever!" Max muttered.

"No guys, you just don't look properly, it's because men are bad at finding stuff." She smirked.

"Oh yeah?" Max glared. He looked over and found an egg. "Another one! Yes!"

Chomp came over and let his nose lead Max the way, so did Ace. "Hey, thats a great idea Chomp! You can guide us to the chocolates in no time!"

They followed the dinosaurs and then found five more chocolates. "This is going great now!" Rex exclaimed, looking at the amount they had found in three minutes. "Come on guys lets keep going"

"We should split up, we'll find them faster that way" Zoe suggested.

"Sure, we'll do that" the boys agreed.

So they all looked over different parts of the house, Zoe found two more Easter eggs and the boys found six each. They only had to find one more each.

Meanwhile at Rock's house:

Rock was at the river, he'd gone for a run but now he figured he'd just walk. The weather was a bit cloudy but otherwise there was no sign of rain, which was good since he was wearing a singlet and shorts. He wanted to escape from the hectic house, since it was Easter - his siblings went crazy over the chocolate. Not something he wanted to be involved in. Not that he didn't like chocolate, because he loved it. Sort of.

He had taken the water stone he'd found with him to find out a bit more about it, he thought that because it had a water symbol it must have had something to do with water, so why not take it to the river? He felt stupidly childish by taking such a thing though.

He strolled over to a large boulder and lay on top of it. His arms hung down the sides of it and brushed the against the stones below, he moaned and gazed down at them. Then he noticed a strange looking thing, that looked like the rugby ball his dad had given him but now that he'd actually noticed, it looked a bit more like an egg. "Da heck? What are these things?"

He picked it up and looked closely at it. It appeared it was joined together, so he tried opening it. It split and out of it dropped two cards. Rock was surprised. He picked the cards up and sat back down on the boulder. On the cards there was a dinosaur sort. "Dragon cards? Or maybe it's a dinosaur. Funny, are these like pokèmon cards?" Rock asked himself.

Rock turned the cards over and saw what was on the back. "That water mark!" He muttered, taking the water stone out of his pocket to compare them. "It's exactly the same. What does that mean? How did these weird as things be so similar but in totally different places? Hrm...what??"

He was frustrated already. He inspected his stone again. There was nothing to show what was supposed to happen. He put one of the cards in his pocket and kept hold of the other one, the one that looked normal. He hissed in frustration and swiped the card on the stone. Instantly and unexpectedly the card flashed and turned into a fully grown...SPINOSAURUS!

Rock stumbled back and swore. The dinosaur roared and turned to face him.

Back with Max, Rex and Zoe:

They still hadn't managed to find the last eggs. Then they heard their Dino holders start beeping. "What does this mean?" Zoe asked herself. She called Max and Rex to come.

They ran up to her. "Did your Dino holder also start beeping?" Rex asked. "Yeah" she said. "What does that mean?" Max asked. "Does that mean you haven't read the manual?" Zoe snickered. "Uh........no. I haven't." Max sagged.

"It means a dinosaur has been found! Come on guy's we've got to get to the D-lab!" Rex said.

At the same time on Zeta Point:

"Aha! Another one of my dinosaurs has been found!" Dr Z exclaimed. "Ursula, Zander and Ed, you are to go on a dinosaur capture mission! Don't let me down"

"You can count us Dr Z! We won't let you down" they replied. "Right...you better not!" He growled.
