CHAPTER 5

-GREG's POV-

I really hate crowded places, so I decided to go out to have a fresh air. But then, I saw two people talking about something. I'm not that kind of person who loves doin eavesdrop but my feet lead me towards them.

"Well, thank you also for understanding me and being here whenever I'm sad. Liam, I...I would like to try being in a relationship...with...with...you."

As I heard those words and those voice, my mind went black, my heart aches too much, my hands become cold like anytime I wanted to punch someone.

'Di ko matiis and to avoid anything that can harm eveyone, I decided to leave the venue. I walked in the road, thhinking every memories I'd had with Afia, Alodia and Seiya. I smiled. I miss those times when we're happy and think nothing but to fulfill our promises.

Why does this world is so unfair to our love story? We just wanted our happy ending, but the world kept giving as a worst one.

What have we done? We're just loving each other unconditionally, how come we always ended up with failures and pains? It's driving me nuts!

Naglalakad lang ako not minding that I'm now crossing into the opposite way, tsaka ko nalang napansin ang malakas na takbo ng isang truck sa gawi ko.

But before that, my mind was completely occupied by the memories we both shared.

-KAYE's POV-

Kanina ko pa hinahanap si Greg dahil bigla nalang siyang nawala sa loob. Umikot-ikot ako hanggang sa naisipan kong lumabas. And there, I saw him walking inside outside and he seems....empty.

Sinundan ko lang siya nang sinundan. I know, he's crying. The way his back moves up and down, he's sobbing. I don't want to see him in this kind of situation, but I left no choice. He asked me to marry him before and told me everything about his first love and how did they ended up the same way as before. But I wasn't so sure who it is. I just know the story.

I just followed him when my necklace fell. I tried to find it and while finding it, I suddenly heard a loud bang. And when I looked at it, there, I saw Greg lying with full of blood in his blood.

I quickly ran toward him not minding my tummy. I was so shocked when I saw him. I couldn't move very well. My body were shaking just by looking at his situation. 

Lots of people gather and some of them called an ambulance. I was too shocked that I did nothing but hold him while my tears begun to fall.

No, pls....No...

"S-Seiya...." he murmured.

Wait,SEIYA?

Greg had to go under some operations and we're all outside praying that he we'll gonna be fine.

We didn't called Liam's family beacause we don't want to ruin Tita's party. It's just my family and his are here. I suddenly remembered how he murmured Seiya's name. Is he Greg's first love? No..... this can't be!

"Excuse Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso. Your son had an internal bleeding and his body had major inuries. And sorry to say this but, his kidney was also affected. Knowing that he has a cancer in his kidney, it might be dangerous for us to take the next step. So, I would gladly recommend you to take him abroad for a proper operation. Thank you." saad ng Doctor. Wait...Cancer sa Kidney?!

"Mom, Greg has kidney cancer?! Why didn't you told me?" I shouted but they just began to cry and so I am. How come I didn't know he has an illness? How come....
