Alya's pov
We walk through the metal ship. Two guards protecting us. As we were walking through aang smiled cheeckly "i bet i can take both of you out with my hands behind my back" he said, i looked at the guards they looked at aang. I looked around. There could be a weak spot in this ship. "Silence" one of the gaurds say "hey i'm the best warrior of my tribe, it wouldnt be that hard, i bet you've never faught a non bender" i say.
I hear the gurad scoff. We reach a door, as the gaurd takes out his key aang airbends us back. As aang flys out o run out as fast as my legs could go. I follow aang. As we run i hear faint yelling. I look at aang"do you know where your going or what your doing?!" I ask aang "we have to get out staff and daggers back!" Aang says, i smile.
I look around at we look for the Banshied princes room. We run into gaurds "you haven't seen my staff around have you?" Aang asks, the guards get in there fighting postions. Aang air bends past them while i quickly slide past cutting the rope thst was around my hands. I follow aang up a ladder. But when i get up there, a fire blast is shot my way. I quickly doge it. As aang uses the gurads fire navy hat to cut his ropes.
Wow for a kid whos been stuck in an ice burg for 100 years, hes pretty smart!
I run past the gaurd and catch up to aang. We go through random doors. I end up opening one with a sleeping man in "oops, sorry" i whisper before shutting the door. I see aang and we continue to look untill we pass a room witha door thats wide open. My daggers and aangs staff lay on a table. I smile and go in to get my dagger. But i'm met with a pleasant suprise. Zuko.
"Looks like i underestimated you 2" he says and i smile. He gets in a fighting stance and me and aang get ready. He shoots a fire ball at me and aang and we split ways. He mainly shoots at aang. I quickly move around untill i see aang in a conner, and zuko about to fire at him. I run over to zuko and bump him the side with the ends of my daggers. He grunts and looks at me.
He re-gains his strength and fires at me. I move out of the way and he keeps shooting me.
I need to fight back i can't keep dogging them! But how? I'll get burned if i get too close.
I move to the floor and kick his legs, he face plants. He gets up and fires at me again. Does he not know who to throw punches? Aang airbends him into me. I blush at how close he is. I quickly push him away. Aang airbends another gust of wind at zuko who gets mad and starts shooting at him. Aang rides around on a air ball and zukko shoots at him non-stop. Finally zukko gets aang air ball and aang goes crashing into a wall fire nation tapersy.
He pulls it off the wall and wraps zukko in it. Zuko fire bends out of it. I run over to aang and stand in defense next to him. But aang air bends a bed to zuko and he face plams into the wall. I laugh at this. Aang then air bends him into the celling and zuko moans. Aang and i quickly run out. We run to the front of the ship. And make an escape for it
Aang grabs me and we almost fly away but zuko grabs onto aangs foot. I gasp as he holds mine to "let go! Or you will make us fall to our death, and then there will be no honor for you!" I yell trying to wiggle zukos hand off my leg but end up slipping from aangs grasp amd zukos. I scream but then i fall onto something "Are you okay!?" I hear sokkas voice ask.
I look at sokka and sit up. I see aang and zuko fall onto the ship. We land onto the ship and i get off. I run to aangs side "appa!" Aang says but then a fire blast is shot our way aang air bendes and pushes me out of the way "i'll fight him!" He says, and i nod going to help brother and sister.
A guard comes my way. I doge his fire blast and then i hear katara scream aangs name "AANG!" i say when i see aang over board "AANG!" I yell again, zuko fires a ball at me and i jump over it. Aang then shoots out of the water. Zuko shocked and i smile. He lands on the ship and water bends a water wip knocking everyone off the ship. I grab onto the sides of ship. I should have moved out of the way!
As my hands begin to slip katara pulls me up "i got you!" She says, and pulls me up. Aang falls and i run over to him. I hold him "aang!" I say, "hey katara, hey sokka" aang says, "thanks for coming" he finshes "well i couldn't let you have all the glory!" Sokka says, i smile "i droped my staff" aang says "got it!" Sokka says running to get his staff. But then sokka starts shaking it like crazy.
What are you doing? Sokka this is not the time to pla- oh wait its zuko.
"Ha! Thats from the water tribe!" Sokka says, as we all start to get back on appa. The guards get up. Katara tried to water bend but water bends sokka in the process "katara!" Sokka cries, katara tires again and freezes a guard. I smile and clap my hands. We start to get onto appa as sokka tried to break out of the ice. He gets on appa and fly away. A huge fire blast is shot at us, aang air bends it back into a wall, and ice falls onto the ship. I laugh at this. And we fly away.
Aang sits back up infont of appa as katara asks him questions i sit on the side "hey aang?" I ask and i look up "if i may, why didn't you tell us you were the avatar?" I ask, "becuase i never wanted to be" aangd says looking away. Another cloud passes over our heads "but aang the worlds been waiting for the avatar to return and finally put an end to this war" katara says "an how am i going to do that?" Aang says "hey you got us, well find a way, trust me" i say moving closer to aang.
"According to legend you first need to master water, earth then fire, right?" I say "thats what the monks told me" aang says, "so then if we go to the north pole ypu can master water bending!" I say and aang nods "you me can learn it together katara!" Aang says, "and sokka i'm sure you'll get to knock some fire bender heads on the way" katara says "i'd like that" sokka says, "and alya, you'd love to have a little adventure right?" Katara asks and i nod "i love to" i say,
"Then lets do this!" I say "alright before i learn water bending. We have some serious business to attend to!" Aang says. Pulling out a map. He points to random places "here, we'll ride the hopping lama's then way over here we'll surf on the backs of giant koy fish, then back over here we'll the hog monkeys, they don't like people riding them, but thatd what makes it fun!" Aang says. I smile.
