8-winter solstice pt.2

After forcing aang to let us go with him, we now sat as katara and sokka sat in the back in appa's saddle and me and aang on appa's head. I pulled my knees up to my chest glancing at aang as he didnt even look at me. His eyes glued to the sky or appa. I looked away as i turned my head to see katara and sokka slowy falling alseep. I looked back at aang who pretended to not even notice me.

"Aang?" I say and get no response back. "Aang" i say again looking at him this time. "Aang will you please stop ignoring me like a 4-year old and listen to me please?" I question, he slowy turns his head my way. "I get it you must feel guilty about me being captired by hebi.?...." I start off with not really knowing what to say. "But i'm fine and i don't want you to feel like it was your fualt when it wasnt. Trust me" i say placing a hand on the side of his face.

I smile slightly as i slowy lean in and give him a kiss on the cheek making him go flusterd and me to. I look away. My cheeks pick and red with a slight smile.

It was now daylight time as we hurried. Aang kept looking at sun as if we had no time to spare. "Aang we got trouble!" Katara says, i look behind us to see zuko's ship following us. Soon a fire ball is launched at us. Don't they have any respect like seriously. Hoe dumb even are they? Didn't zuko get banshied from fire nation?

Soon enough a blockade of ships start fireing at us as i hold on tightly. I let one hand go as i start to shoot at them using my energy. "If we fly north we can go around the fire nation ships and avoid the blockade" aang says and i raise a brow. "But how won't that put us in more danger!" I yell as we doge another one of zukos fire balls. "This is exactly why i didn't want to bring you!" Aang yells back at me.

"Look there is not time to fight! You can settle your promblems later for now we need to get out of here!" Katara yells. "Katara's right lets run this blockade!" Sokka cheers and i smile. "Appa yip-yip!" Aang says as we head full blast.  Soon enough tons of fire balls are shot us. They all stink. Couldn't they have used anything else that doesn't stink!

I cover nose and scream as we take a sharp left. I hold onto aang as i close my eyes tight, we go through one of the balls that explode and katara and sokka put out the fire on appa. "Appa are you okay?" Aang asks appa who groans and nods. We fly up toward the clouds and i let go of aang. Hopefully they won't reach us up here. Right?

Turns out i was worng. I scream and grip onto aang again as we doge more fire balls. Do they have unlimmted suppile of the sinky balls? Honestly do they just keep them as a supply in a part of the ship? As we doge more two hit eachother and blow up makinh us go through them. Sokka flys off. "SOKKA!" I yell.

I look at aang who turns us around also yelling sokka's name. Katara pulls sokka into the saddle as aang tells me to get to get back. "Its not safe up here alya! You need to go with katara and sokka" he says "but aang-" "no, go now!" He kind pushes me to back as i sit next to sokka who puts a protective arm around me. Please don't fly off again, if you do i'm going down with you.

We get lower to the water and i hold onto the side of the saddle. We get closer and closer to the ships. The ships start to come in and a huge fire ball is shot at us. Aang jumps up, airbending it, breaking it into pieces. I sit there amazed as we fly through the ships. "We made it!" Aang cheers, "we got into the fire nation...yay" sokka says shocked.

I climb over the saddle and sit next to aang and high five him. "Out of all the things you've done, i'd have to say the one you just did was awsome!" I say and blush. I look away and he thanks me a blush appearing on his face.
