Alya's pov
As i'm packing up stuff ready to leave to the southern air temple, aang and i Create small talk. "Wait till you see it Alya! The air temple is one of the most beautiful places in the world!" Aang says, "aang i know you excited but its been 100 years since you've been home" katara joins in "thats why i'm so excited" aang says, "i bet it is really beatiful" i say, irration in my voice. As i roll up my sleeping bag. "It just that alot can change in all that time" katara continues clearly Ignoreing me.
I roll my eyes, honestly she likes to listen to every conversation i have. It gets on my nerves. I get pulled out of my thoughts when i hear sokka scream, "get it off! Get if off!" He yells, he ends up face planting "great your awake! Lets go!" Aang says, katara laughs, her laugh was different though it was like a flirtation laugh.

As we flew to the air temple i couldn't help but look at the beatiful green scenery down below. I've only seen ice my whole life. Sokka started to compalin on how aang mistaken food for fire. I laughed as sokka talked about how the flames smelt so good. "Were almost there!" Aang said my eyes opend in amazement as i leaned over appas head "aang before we get to the temple i wanna talk to you about the air benders" katara said from the back. I looked down
"Oh yea the air benders" i mutterd "what about them?" Aang asked i could feel his eyes on me "well i just want you to be prepard for what you might see, the fire nation is ruthless, they killed my mother. They could have done the same to your people" katara says and i look at her. Can we just forget for one day the fire nation are bad people??!!
"Doesn't mean no ones seen an air bender doesn't mean the fire nation killed them all. They probably escaped" aang said and i looked at him "i know that its hard to believe it aang but what katara is saying is true. The fire nation did kill OUR mother, and they might have done the same thing to yours" i say repeating what katara said and making sure she gets the word our heard.
"You don't understand Alya, the only way to get to an air bender temple is on a flying bisson and i doubt the fire nation has a flying bisson, right appa" aang said and appa moaned. We started to fly Around a very tall mountian. I held onto appa very tight "there is is, the southern air temple" aang said and i opend my eyes. "Its beatiful" i say,
"Were home buddy, were home" aang says and lands appa. As i'm about to jump off aang picks me up and helps me down "thanks aang" i say and he smiles "no problem" he says rubbing the back of his head. I could see katara glareing at me from a distance. Seriously whats her problem.
We started to walk up the mountain while sokka started to complain about food. I ran with aang, me being my clumsy self almost triped but katara caught me "you'know i think its best if you don't run alya. Especially since were at the edge of a mountain" she points out "yea your right" i say, we continue to walk up to road.
