~Y/n's POV~

We go back in, and Schlatt's speech has ended. And it's only a matter of seconds before his arm locks with mine, pulling me onto the dance floor. I'm stood there confused, and somewhat nervous. I knew there'd be a dance, but dancing in front of two whole nations terrifies me.

I can see Dream staring at me from the corner of my eye in amongst the crowd, but it isn't before he walks away, disappearing like he had been eaten up. Schlatt gets into position, and so do I, but I can't help myself and look around.

The routine is easy, simple, and nothing like the dance Dream and I had sort of made a few nights ago. But this dance was slow, and not at all graceful when your dancing with a man who is nearly drunk every second of the day.

The music starts, and I let my feet do the dancing for me, as I continue looking around, eyeing each and every masked face in the crowd, completely ignoring Schlatt. My head whips from side to side, not knowing what I'm searching for, but when I see Wilbur's tall frame in the distance, I keep my eyes on him like a hawk.

He's sat on a chair, with the non masked part of his face in his hands. Tommy's stood right next to him with crossed arms and wearing what I assume is a face filled with fury and hot, raging blood. I immediately start to panic, thinking of all the possible things that had went wrong. Did it have something to do with me?

"For the love of God, would you stop looking around?" Schlatt complains, and I immediately fixate my eyes to his drunk ones. "Sorry." I mutter, but I don't listen. I turn back to the crowd, eyeing the two boys once again.

Tubbo then comes into view, but I'm surprised to what I see next. Tubbo comes back with Dream, and that's when I stop. I stop looking, and lock my eyes to the ground between Schlatt and I instead. I can't help, but breathe heavily, now focusing on my steps which I had messed up twice now.

The music soon then stops, and Schlatt lets go of me, walking over to the microphone up on stage. I'm now stood on the dance floor alone, but I don't think anything about it. I avert my eyes back to my brothers, but all I see is panic and eyes filled with fury.

Panic in myself and Wilbur who furiously yells at Dream like he can't get angry enough. I can't hear what he's saying, but Wilbur's mask is now off, speaking to Dream with steam that basically blows out of his ears, and a face that has painted itself red. He's sweating, and I can tell he's worried.

Worried, but terribly enraged at Dream who occasionally throws a comment. He seems a lot more calm than my brothers who stands across from him like they're ready to beat him up. I'm reluctant, but I don't waste time and begin pacing towards them, though it isn't before a loud screeching noise booms from the speakers, echoing through the room.

I turn around to the stage where Schlatt clears his throat into the mic. "Might it be alright if I ask 5 handsome gentlemen and 5 lovely ladies to join us on the dance floor for a mixer dance waltz?" Schlatt's voice echo's through the room, and I immediately shoot my head back panicked.

I watch Wilbur who pushes Tommy into the dance floor, and Tubbo who tries restraining Dream back, but fails miserably as soon as Dream releases himself from his grasp. Dream furiously strides towards the dance floor, and I look at him like a lost child, but it isn't before I'm abruptly dragged back by the arm.

I whip my head back to where my eyes land on Tommy's blue ones. He's smiling, and probably thinks I saw nothing, but right now all I wish was to hear whatever they were arguing about earlier. "Hey." He says, grinning from ear to ear. I smile back, trying to forget about what I just saw.

"Hey." I say back, before we all hear that screeching noise again. They should really fix those speakers. "We lack 3 more gentlemen if anyone would like to volunteer." I look over Tommy's shoulder and I immediately gag when I see 5 ladies who are most likely in their 60's.
