As he watched basketball as it rained outside, Demetrius was watching basketball while smoking a joint in his living room. He was exhausted after the trip and still kinda is due to him having to help finish recording the rest of Chris Brown's album, he loved what he did for a living cause he was doing what he genuinely loved every day but somedays it would weigh on him cause he had to work late or catch flights throughout the week. He couldn't catch a break but at the same time, he wouldn't trade these tired nights of work and happiness for anything. Demetrius was so happy that he finally found something he found contentment in, he never got any hand out when it came to his situations in life and for that, it made him the Demetrius Brewster he is today. Living in the slumps of Harlem wasn't easy, he didn't quite exactly have your average racks to riches story.

Demetrius never found himself in the streets, gangbanging. Even though he has crip affiliates he wasn't a gangsta himself but had a gangsta energy aura to him. He always told himself that he was gonna do whatever he had to do by any means to get out of the situation that he was previously in without regressing to the street life. He couldn't hate on dudes who had to sell dope or rob people to support themselves cause that's what all of them knew, some of his closest friends were gang-affiliated so he couldn't say shit. He wanted to get it on his own without hurting, harming or putting himself or anyone around him in a dangerous scenario. He had to keep this mindset since he was practically the only person to take care of his sister Alexis at the time, he knew he couldn't afford to get himself locked up or else she would have pretty much been stranded alone somewhere with a distant family member.

The crazy thing is that even when he tried to escape trouble, it still found a way to find him. The reason why Aaliyah once mentioned her fear of Demetrius going back to jail was because a few years back he was wrongfully accused of a crime he didn't commit. One day Demetrius was going to a local flower shop which so happened to be the day of mothers day, as he drove calmly with his Wu-Tang playing in the background. Demetrius saw blue and red lights behind him come out of nowhere, he continued driving thinking that the cop wasn't after him. But when he took a left turn the cop car was still after him so that's when he pulled over his car. Demetrius wasn't scared of 12 but he did his best to stay away from them as much as possible.

He watched the white male cop exit his vehicle and walk towards him, the cop was blonde, blue eyes, slender built looking like he was around in his 40's or 50's. He used his espantoon aka that long-ass stick cops be using, he lightly tapped Demetrius's window, Metri looked in his direction and proceeded to roll down his window.

"You know why I pulled you over sir" the police began without any type of greeting he got straight to the point; "Nah I don't know why officer" Metri responded with a slight attitude in his voice. The cop knew exactly what he was doing and he was about to use his power in his favor. "Well, you sir actually look a lot like a suspect that we have been looking for, who committed a robbery a few weeks ago. Demetrius scrunched his face at the man not understanding were this was coming from since he didn't know anything about a robbery.
