Five days later
"Mellisa you know that I can't walk just yet, I thought I could come see you but other shit came up," Travis told the mother of his unborn child. As of recently, the two weren't seeing eye to eye about how they are gonna co-parent.
Travis was upset he even cheated on Aaliyah, he knew he wasn't the best lover and pushed her into the deep end. Now he had to live with the consequences of his actions, there was no fixing what happened not only did Aaliyah express that she wasn't happy in the relationship for a while, but he had a whole child that he would have to take care of for the rest of his life.
If he could go back he certainly would, to him he felt that Aaliyah was too ahead of her time. She had her life figured out and had no problem sharing her knowledge with people around her on how they could improve their own. Travis felt like the biggest asshole to have walked the planet, nothing was making him happy anymore.
"I really fucked up with Aaliyah, Mellisa she won't even pick up my calls anymore." he tried confiding in her cause at the end of the day she was still his best friend, it just sucks that he had to be the one to impregnate her.
"I know it sucks but you have to put your big boy pants on, we have to raise this child together we made our bed and now we have to lay in it. No one forced us to have sex so we gotta handle this like the adults we are, " Mellisa preached to Travis, he sat there on the phone speechless because everything she said made him feel worse about himself.
"I lost her for good, I bet she ran straight to the bitch ass best friend of hers", Travis mumbled the last part more to himself than to Mellisa. Travis was an insecure man, he certainly saw Demetrius as a threat but would never admit it to someone. He could sense that Aaliyah was happy when she was in his presents anyone could feel it.
If he was to lose Aaliyah to any man in her life, he knew it would be to Demetrius, which saddens him even more.
Travis was going to make it his mission to get Aaliyah back, she meant far too much to him for her to just slip through his fingers like that.
