Maya sat down at a restaurant table talking to her friend Chanel, Maya was mortified with the way East chose to talk to her at the club a few hours ago. She hated the fact that he wasn't giving in to her antics. She wanted him to be bothered and he simply wasn't, she was determined to have her way with him like she always intended.
"Why does Demetrius keep playing with me," she said out loud.
"Girl I don't have the slightest clue" Chanel responded as she typed as if her life depended on it on her phone, Chanel and Maya have had this conversation more times than she could count and she was tired honestly. She loved her best friend but she was tired of her obsessing over a man who clearly didn't want her, so instead of telling her the truth about how she felt on the matter Chanel just encouraged her behaviour even if she knew it was completely wrong.
" That bitch Aaliyah or whatever her name is has been the reason why I can't even get any of his time, I would beat her ass but I know Demetrius would kill me and probably have my body dumped in the Atlantic Ocean. Just because I can't fight her ass doesn't mean I cant cuss her ass out.
Chanel barely looked up from her phone, she knew this was one of Maya's many episodes so she just kept quiet and let her be.
Maya grabbed her phone and went to Instagram to find Aaliyah's page, when she saw the woman she couldn't lie she knew Aaliyah was very pretty but she didn't want to ever admit that. She always saw herself as more than because of her skin complexion in comparison to Aaliyah's, she saw that as some type of leverage but deep down she knew that skin colour had nothing to do with real beauty.
Even after that quick moment of reflection Maya still wanted to hurt Aaliyah, Maya was a notorious Instagram thug. She had so much to say but when it came time to be about it she could never and today was the day she showcased her abilities once more even if that meant hurting someone who did nothing to her.
