In the bar, sounds of chatting and laughter filled the room.

"Haah! Drinking free alcohol is the best," Date exclaimed after chugging down a whole mug of beer.

"Huh? What do you mean by 'free alcohol'?" Matsuda asked the squad leader.

"Didn't you hear from Hagiwara?" Date said. "It's a joint party with the girls from the other class! He said that if I came to match the numbers... he'd pay for my drinks!"

"Though Hagiwara himself isn't here yet..." He added.

"And so you came here despite having a girlfriend, squad leader..." Matsuda said, giving the squad leader an accusing look.

"Ooh. So you already got a girlfriend, Date-kun!" One of the girls swooned. "I get that!" Another one exclaimed.

"Really?" Date smiled brightly while Matsuda gave him a stinky side-eye.

"What about you, Matsuda-kun?" A girl asked.

Matsuda scowled darkly at that, his mind recalling the face of a certain instructor.

"I guess you don't...." The girl sweatdropped. "I get that too..." Another girl said.

"Hey, Hiro! This appetizer... is truly delicious!" Furuya exclaimed happily.

"Even I can make something like that, so let me teach you the recipe next time!" Hiro said. "After all, you're utterly bad at cooking, Zero..." He teased the blonde.

"Well, sorry about that..." Furuya sweatdropped.

"Teach me too, Morofushi-kun!" A girl with ponytails spoke. "It's fine if Furuya-kun's bad at it, I still want him to teach me!" Another girl claimed.

"Cut it out... Zero has zero interest in girls other than older doctors, y'know!" Matsuda told the girls.

"You mean younger instructors?" A girl corrected. "I know! It's so obvious with the way he always stares at her." Another girl teased.

"I was not!" Furuya argued. "I never stared at Ari-san!!" He denied flusteredly.

"Who said anything about Sakurazawa-san? You even called her by her first name..." A girl smirked, while the other girls are now grinning ear-to-ear after teasing the blondie.

Laughter filled the table when the door of the room slides open.

"My bad... for being late." Hagiwara, the pretty boy grinned.

He then rubbed the back of his neck, "Actually,  on my way here I met a granny who couldn't get up the stairs. And when I carried her up the stairs on my back, she said she'd dropped her 'Great Luck' fortune slip she drew at a shrine a while ago..."

"We looked for it but we couldn't find it... so I returned to the shrine and while drawing fortune slips till 'Great Luck' one came out, it got this late..."

'That's a lie...' Date thought.

"How kind of you~!<3" "Waa!<3" All the girls swooned.
