"From the impact of the car crashing into the truck... the bumper got stuck and the car's being dragged along... Furthermore, the truck driver has long since lost unconsciousness after some kind of seizure..."
"In such a situation, just what are you trying to do?!"
"As for that..." Hagiwara started.

(Furuya's not in this scene alright. He's riding with Ari on her bike.)
Ari glanced at Matsuda who's crouching on the car's roof. She moved her bike closer to that side and nudged Furuya's tight. "Why don't you give him a hand?"
"Huh?" Furuya replied in confusion. He was about to ask her what she meant before letting out a yelp when he felt pressure from his side. With some unknown strength, Ari threw Furuya onto the car's roof.
"Wha—!"
And Furuya was thankfully caught by the Matsuda. (No Furuya was harmed in the making of this scene.)
Matsuda patted Furuya in the back, comforting him from the shock that he himself had yet to process.
"When we reach the front of the car, please open the hood." Matsuda requested the elders inside the car.
"A-Amazing..." Date muttered, looking at the two with widened eyes.
"I'll take care of the bumper! You take care of the truck driver!" Matsuda said to Furuya. "Got it!" The blonde shouted in reply.
"Squad leader..." Hiro called. "This road isn't displayed on the GPS... it might be a highway under construction..." He informed before Date continued, "Or rather... the road comes to an end!"
