Y/N's POV
I've been best friends with Deku for pretty much my whole life now! I thought I loved him as just an older brother or something. Key word: thought. As I grew older, my feelings and thoughts started changing. The little things he did,resulted in having a blushing tomato face. My heart would start beating faster when he would hold me closer,or even just holding my hands. I thought maybe...just maybe...that he would reciprocate my feelings...So a few weeks after starting UA High School, I decided to ask him. "So Deku,now that we've been here for a few weeks...do you have a crush?" He blushed a bright red. "A-Actually...there's someone I want to ask out...but I don't know if she'll like me back..." "Well tell me! Maybe I could help you get with her!" "Well...it's...I-Its..."
"Uraraka! I really like her! And I'd like to ask her out! So...what do you think?" I felt sick to my stomach and tried to smile as best I could. "T-That sounds...great!" You awkwardly smiled at him and gave a thumbs up. "So now that you know,will you please help me...g-get with her...?" I suddenly felt the urge to throw up. "U-Uhm...of course!" Deku of course noticed I wasn't feeling well because of my actions. "Are you alright?" "O-Of course! I need..t-to go...I'll talk to you l-later...ok...?" I got up and once out of sight,I ran to the bathroom. I sobbed right then and there in the stall. Luckily,no one was in there.
~After school~
"Y/NNNNN!!! There you are! I thought you were deaddddd! You never came to the other classes! Where were you?!" The one person I didn't feel like talking to was now here hugging me and overreacting. "I'm fine, Uraraka. Thank you for your concern!" I faked a smile. "I must get going home now." "Oh...W-well I was wondering if you wanted to see my notes since you never made it to class!" "Alright...we can walk to my place together." We walked to my house and went up to my room. "It's been awhile since we've hung out!" "Y-Yeah...Let me to get changed into some more comfortable clothes..." I went to the restroom and changed. When done,I came into the room to find Uraraka looking at my pictures of me and Deku I had on my nightstand. "Wow! You and Deku really have been friends for a long time. Haven't you?" She asked cheerfully. "Yep. So uhm..." I sat on my bed. "Let's have some girl talk and then we can study?" "Sounds good! Sooooo..."
Awkward silence
"Who do you like?" I broke the silence. "E-Eh?! Uhm... promise you won't tell anyone???" I nodded my head. "I like...D-Deku..."
Cue the sound of my heart breaking for the second time today.
"W-Wow... Seriously???" She nodded her head slowly. "A-Are you mad...?" "No of course not! Uhm..." "Who do you like?" She asked. "I like Bakugo." I lied. "Bakugo?! You mean the one who bullied Deku most of his life?! I mean...it's your life I guess..." "Yeah...Let's study now..."
