Surprise Party {ft. Todoroki}

Class 1A wanted to have a surprise birthday party for Todoroki. While everyone else was setting up in the dorms,you were in charge of keeping Todoroki away until the party was ready. Yesterday,you had asked him if he wanted to go and maybe get some cold soba. He agreed,seeing as how cold soba is his favorite.

You waited for him in front of the small cafe while texting Mina.

Alien Queen- Make sure you keep him stalled!

You- Yeah yeah Ikkkk!

Alien Queen- Mk! We're counting on you!

You- Oh! He just got here! K,I'll keep you posted.

Todoroki had just arrived and he walked up to you.
"Sorry if I'm late."
"Oh no problem! Let's go inside,shall we?" You smiled at him. He nodded and followed you inside.
Seating himself at a table, you walked over to the cash register and ordered 2 bowls of soba. Cold for him and hot/cold (you can choose) for you. The woman smiled and gave you your receipt.
"Ok, we'll bring your order out to you in a few more minutes!"
You smiled," Alright,thank you!" You walked back to the table then sat across from Todoroki. He was on his phone,but once you came back,he set it on the table and looked at you.
"So uh...how has your day been so far?" You asked,not wanting to sit in silence.
"Good."
"So what do you usually do in your free time?"
"I usually train to become stronger or finish projects Mr. Aizawa gives us for school."
"Ah,how fun...do you ever hang out with friends?"
He looks as if he's thinking, and then just nods his head.
"I enjoy training with Midoriya and some of the other students."
You sat in silence for a few more minutes,until the lady came with your food.

"Here you go! An order of two bowls of soba! Enjoy!"
"Thank you!"
"Thank you." Todoroki said after grabbing his pair of chopsticks to eat. You both started eating when someone bumped into you when you went to go and take a bite.
"Hey!" Them bumping into you made your bowl spill and you ended up accidentally biting your tongue.
"Well you should watch it next time!"the rude man yelled at you.
"Me? I was just sitting here!"
"Tch." The man got annoyed and went to slap you when someone grabbed his wrist and stopped him.
"You should apologize." Todoroki glared at the man.
"S-Sorry! I w-won't do it again!" He yanked his arm away from Todoroki and left the cafe.
You looked down when Todoroki sat back down again.
"Are you alright?"
"Y-Yeah..."
Todoroki continued eating when he saw your food was spilled. He got up and grabbed some napkins. Coming back over,he cleaned it up and then went to throw the napkins away. Todoroki then sat back across from you.
"Do you want the rest of my soba?"
"Eh?! No,no its fine!"
He shrugged and continued to eat. While he was eating you decided to text Mina and ask how everything was going.

You- Are you guys done yet?! Idk how much more I can take!

Alien Queen- Wdym?! Did something bad happen???

You- Not exactly Ig... He's almost done eating tho and then what do I do?!

Alien Queen- I mean...u can take him 2 a store or smthg!

You- oh yeah! Good idea! There's a mall I wanted to visit.

Alien Queen- See? I'm sure everything will be alright! But it might be another hour or two before the party is ready.

You- Hmm...I'll figure out smthg I'm sure!

Alien Queen- Mk then see u in a bit!

You put your phone back in your purse and looked at Todoroki. "You ready to go?"
He nodded.
You left a tip and the lady walked up.
"I hope the food was delicious!"
"Yes it was!" You replied. She leaned over and whispered into your ear.
"You two make a cute couple."
You blushed and said a little to loud," i-its not like that!"
Luckily, Todoroki was already outside waiting for you. (But he still heard you yell out lol)
You thanked the lady for the meal and went outside to Todoroki.
"Ah so...I heard there's this mall around here...and uh...wanna go with me?" You hoped he would say yes.
"Hmm...I have no other plans so I guess I could come."
"Yay! Let's go!" You grabbed his hand and started running and he just silently followed.

~At the Mall~

You decided to go in the arcade first,since Todoroki himself seemed a bit interested. Still pulling him by the hand,you walked over to a claw machine that was nearby.
"Oh! There's a cute little stuffed animal in there!"
You tried several times to grab it,but was unsuccessful. Todoroki watched and decided to try himself. He put in a few coins and got the stuffed animal on his second try. He looked at you and gave a small smile.
"This was the one you wanted,right?" He handed it to you.
"Ah,you didn't have to get it for me!"
"Well you seemed like you really wanted it..."
"Thank you!" You started walking to a car racing game. "Have you ever played these before?"
"No. I've never been to an arcade."
"Seriously?! Then this game is a must!"
You both ended up staying at the arcade for another hour.

Alien Queen- Gurlllll where r u?! It's time 4 the party!

You- Oh! We'll be on our way now!

Alien Queen- you better! Everyone is waiting patiently!
Uh...for the most part anyways.

"Hey Todoroki! We should head back to the dorms,I just remembered I have to finish the rest of my homework! I wouldn't want Aizawa to get mad."
He just nodded his head. "Alright let's go."

~Time skip to the dorms~

You let Todoroki open the door,only to find all the lights off.
Suddenly,the lights went on and everyone yelled"SURPRISE!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!"
Todoroki stood there in awe.
"Is this...for me?"
"Yep!" You said happily.
Mina walked up to you. "Good job in keeping him occupied!"
Todoroki looked at you. "You were a part of this?"
You nodded. "Mhm! Do you like it?"
He showed a genuine smile. "I love it. Thank you everyone." He said as he turned to smile at all his fellow classmates.
