Before we start this chapter, I do want to clarify that the comment on this book were from the original way I had it written. I have changed up the plot and written different scenes, and added a couple new characters. So for my new readers who are confused about the comments that's the clarification! "Audrey, Brandon, What are you guys doing here?" I questioned.

"You should come baby shopping with us," Audrey replies as she walks into my apartment pushing me out of the way.

I furrowed my brows, "Why?"

Audrey shrugs her shoulders as she turns to me, "You are more experienced with babies than I am."

"What about your parents?" I asked, out of all people, why is she coming to me about baby stuff?

"They went back to Rome to finish business, but they will be here for Christmas next week." She said as she sat down on the couch.

I looked at her before looking over to Brandon who was staring at the painting that was hanging up on the wall. My parents bought that painting when they went to Paris.

"Alright, I'll go but I need to get Ellie ready," I say as I look over at Audrey who is on her phone before she looks at me with a smile.

I turn around and start making my way to my bedroom as Ellie follows behind me, "Mommy, where are we going?"

"Shopping with Audrey and Brandon," I say as I start gathering an outfit together.

"Can you go get dressed real quick?" I ask her as I start putting on a pair of jeans.

Ellie nods her head as she jumps off the bed and heads to her room.

I quickly get dressed, use the bathroom, wash my hands, and brush my teeth before fixing my hair. It was wavy since I hadn't had the motivation to do anything with it, so I ran a brush through my hair with immediate regret.

My hair goes poofy in an instant, I swear I hate having wavy hair sometimes. I end up throwing it up in a loose low bun before walking into the living room where Audrey and Brandon are with Ellie.

"I'm ready if you guys are," I say as I grab my purse from the end table.

Brandon nods his head as he gets up from the couch and reaches his hand out to Audrey helping her get up from the couch.

We all left and headed over to the mall, as Audrey and Brandon were looking at baby clothes Ellie and I decided to go look at baby toys.

"Mommy, was I in your stomach?" Ellie asked as she turned her gaze to my stomach.

My eyes widened as I looked down at her, a small smile formed on my lips as I said, "Yes, you were."
"When am I going to get a brother or sister?" She questioned as she returned to looking at the toys.

I didn't know how to answer her question, I mean before everything if I had known she would've been one. I believe she would've been a good big sister, but I've lost two kids so far. I don't want to risk losing another one, especially with the bad luck I have.

I exhaled deeply as I moved a strand of my hair out of her face, "I don't know yet, sweetie."

She bounces up and down in her spot, "I hope I can be one soon."

I smiled before grabbing onto her hand, "Let's go find Audrey and Brandon."

We made our way to the other side of the store to look around for them, and my eyes landed on Audrey who had two baby onesies in her hand.
