I lay down next to Ellie on the hospital bed, I moved in a little bit closer to her small body as I was shaking violently.

Right now she's resting. She had something stuck in her airways for a few weeks causing her to start coughing up blood. But it's a good thing that she's okay. Nothing serious.

Kylie went back to the apartment to grab some things for Ellie, especially since she was staying overnight. The doctors wanted to make sure that she would be okay.

I lay my head on Ellie's shoulder as I pulled her closer to me, the door swung open making me snap up to see Xavier taking fast steps toward Ellie's bedside. I immediately stand up and move back as he sits down on her bedside and leans down.

Xavier places his hand gently on her face and softly caresses her cheeks, I take the time and look at him for a good minute, his full attention is on Ellie. The one time I've seen him since a month ago was when he called and told me about Ellie. I immediately ran into his house and took her to the hospital.

"Is she going to be okay?" He asked as he kept his attention on Ellie.

"Yes, the doctors said that she had something stuck in her airway causing her to start coughing up blood," I answered as my eyes fell on Ellie.

He nods his head and slowly places a soft kiss on Ellie's forehead, I hear footsteps approaching the room causing me to look up and see Natalia and Alessandro walk into the room with a teddy bear and balloons.

I felt a small smile tug onto my lips as I saw them place the stuff on the nightstand, Alessandro tied the string of the balloons at the end of her bed.

"Will she be okay?" Natalia asked.

Xavier nods his head, "Yes she'll be fine."

Natalia nods her head slightly before walking out of the room, Alessandro follows behind her and they both walk down the hallway.

Xavier finally looks up and his eyes land on me, he gets up and walks over to me to where we are only a few inches away from each other.

I inhale deeply while looking into his eyes, he moves his right hand and moves a strain of hair out of my face.

I wanted to kiss him so badly, but at the same time, I didn't want to.

He brings his hand up to my face and rubs his thumbs over my temple, "I'm sorry."

I raised an eyebrow, "For what?"

"Everything."

I stayed silent as I glanced down at the floor before looking up at him again, our lips were inches away from each other. He slowly moves his face closer to mine to where now our lips are almost touching.

"Momma?" I hear Ellie's voice speak, causing me to back away from Xavier. I walked over to her bedside and sat down beside her before placing a kiss on her forehead.

"How are you feeling Ellie?" I asked.

"Better, I'm just happy that you're here momma." She says as she sits up in the bed and hugs me.

I smiled as she hugged me, "I'm so glad that you're okay."

After a few minutes of spending time with Ellie, I decided to head down to OBGYN since I didn't make it earlier. I walk down the hallway before turning around and seeing Xavier right behind me.

Where the hell did he come from?

"Why are you going into the OB-GYN department?" He questioned with his arms crossed over his chest.

I inhale deeply before looking down at the ground and then back up at him, "What do you think Xavier?"

He raises a brow before taking a step closer to me, "I think that you're hiding something from me, so tell me Petra, are you pregnant?"

I exhale sharply. I guess it was time to tell him, I mean you already told me I'm pregnant with how big my stomach has gotten, "Yes, I am pregnant Xavier.."

He freezes, his whole body going entirely still as he looks down at my stomach. After a few seconds which felt like hours, he slowly looked back up at me, his eyes wide open as he just stared at me in shock.

It's silent for a few minutes, just before I was about to speak Dr. Henderson approaches up from behind Xavier, "Ready?"

I nodded my head before following her inside the room, I shut the door behind me and got up on the bed.

"Alright, Ms. Ramirez, how have we been feeling lately?" Dr. Henderson asks as she puts on her blue medical gloves and starts up the machine, "Been under stress lately?"

I nodded my head slightly before letting out a deep sigh, "Just been stressed with everything."

She nods her head before looking down at me, "Stress is bad for the babies."

"I know, I just have a lot of things going on," I tell her.

She was about to speak before the door swung wide open causing my head to snap up, my eyes landed on Xavier who was walking into the room. He pulls up a chair and sits down beside me before he grabs my hand and holds it in his.

I furrowed my brows as I looked down at our hands holding, "What are you doing? Who's with Ellie?"

"You're pregnant with my child so I want to see Kylie with Ellie," Xavier responds as he moves closer to me.

"Alright, the jelly is going to be a little bit chilly so I hope you're prepared." Dr. Catherine warns me as she pulls out a small bottle.

She pours some cold jelly over my stomach as I look at the screen next to me.

A few minutes pass by and she smiles, "Alright the mouth, lower jaw, and throat are developing. The blood cells are taking shape, and circulation will begin. By the end of the third month of pregnancy, your guy's babies will be around eight to nine mm which is about the size of a grain of a blueberry! But everything is fine."

I release a breath of relief and smile, "How many weeks?"

"Fifteen weeks." She says as she grabs a towel and hands it to me, "Petra, you need to meditate to help with stress and the babies. I would be careful."

I nodded my head as I turned my head to look at the ceiling, my heart beating fast with joy and excitement.

I glanced over at Xavier as he was just staring at the screen with a smile on his face, I could tell he was excited by the way he was looking at the screen. He seemed happy.

I wipe the jelly off my stomach before pulling my hoodie down and getting off the bed, I grab my purse and phone before walking towards the door but just before I was about to grab the handle, Xavier grabs it and opens the door for me.

He smiles down at me causing me to roll my eyes with a small grin, I walk out the door, and before I am about to walk down the hallway towards Ellie's room Xavier grabs my arm gently causing me to turn around and look at him.

"I would greatly appreciate it if you would move in again, I mean you're carrying my child and I want you safe," Xavier said as he looked down at my stomach.

"What about your enemies?" I asked, that was the whole reason I moved out of the house.

"What about them? They're not going to be a problem anymore, I'm sorry Petra." He apologizes as he cups my face with his hands.

A smile slowly crawled on my face when he said, "Okay, then I will."

Xavier gives me a warm smile before pulling me into a hug, he pulls me closer to him closing the gap between us.

"So am I forgiven?" He whispered into my ear.

I pull away and look at him as he has a grin on his face, I shake my head as a smile forms on my face, "Yes, You're forgiven."
