Rosa's POV
We pulled up to the small, but cosy two story house that was our childhood home. I got out of the car and right off the bat I noticed the change and impact on dad's life that Cora has made. The house had been repainted from that god awful pastel yellow to white, and the yard had been cleared up. The mail box had even been replaced.
I grabbed my things and practically bolted inside to see what else had changed. When I opened the door I was immediately greeted by the living room.
All pictures of Renee had been thrown out (except for the ones that had me and Bella), and the tacky pastel green walls had been repainted white, and pictures of me, Bella, dad and our uncles Billy and Harry, and dad and Cora had been hung up instead.
When Bella entered the house and was stunned by what she saw. Dad set her bags down and called out "Honey?! We're home!" Cora immediately came out of the kitchen wearing a light blue flannel and dark blue mom jeans with black house shoes. Her wild curly hair was in it's usual updo. She wore no makeup, but was as stunning as ever.
She smiled and lit up the whole room "Hey, mon Cher!" She greeted dad first and gave him a sweet kiss on the lips that he happily returned, before she turned to us.
Cora or rather Cordelia Landry moved from, the Big Easy, New Orleans to the quaint and humble town of Forks when Bella and I were five. She was a curvy woman with brown sugar colored skin, and a curly mop of raven hair. Her eyes reminded me of dark chocolate and she had two beauty marks one on the left side of her jaw line next to her chin and another on the right side of her upper lip.
