I wanted to make a big deal of his birthday, like he always did with mine. I managed to get up, check on the kids and went to the kitchen to get some water. Phone in my hand, as I planned our weekend, namely his birthday and bought my husband's birthday gift. We rented out the Providence restaurant in LA, for three days so we could fit it out the Friday before, and have a team restore it on Sunday for opening on Monday. The main room had pillars, and lights fitted, the bar redesigned with white clean counter tops, a huge dance floor room, dark and decorated in a dancehall theme fully equipt with DJs and sound system speakers. The car would arrive once we were about to wind down the party, and then I would ask him to take me on a quick drive to give him the other gifts including a Protek Phillpe watch, and a vacation he begged me to go on with him.

I was getting ready,and could hear Adonis crying from his room and Aubrey calling him. Less than ten minutes later I dried off, and went down to see what was happening but they were both asleep. Curled up with each other in a ball, so I took a keepsake picture and went to get Summer up and ready for her day. My daughter was getting bigger every morning, it seemed. Always smiling and bright eyed, especially when she saw her daddy. For now she was enjoying her mashed banana and peaches with her mum, who I had to remind myself was me. She was almost 8 months old and so beautiful, as she grew into herself she became prettier like a little doll. Light brown curls that were at her shoulders now, almond shaped aqua eyes, Aubrey said were mine, and her fathers lips and smile. Her skin was caramel, but brown as she had been enjoying the summer with her brother.
