Virginia waved and smiled as Leonore came out of the plane, she couldn't help herself and smiled and laughed a little thinking she was adorable.
"Was it a good flight?" Virginia asked, also finding her adorable.
"Yes, not a big fan of take offs or landings." Leonore answered, liking flying but only the middle part.
"Understandable. I'm not overly fond of them either. You better call Kathy before we go." Virginia replied, knowing the protective lioness.
"Yes, I should." Leonore said, walking away and calling Kathy to get it over with until later.
"Hey Little one, glad you got there alright and did you cope alright with the flight." Kathy said, answering her call.
"Yes, about to get the train to Homebush and go to the hotel." Leonore answered, kind of missing her.
"Good, you know your way around?" Kathy asked, still a little insecure about her being alone.
"Yes, I googled it all and know the way to get there." Leonore answered, reassuring her.
"Sorry Little one, Mumma bear is on duty." Kathy answered, hearing her annoyance.
"It's alright Mumma, I will text you when I get to the hotel." Leonore said, loving her for being protective.
"Alright Little one, I love you." Kathy answered, letting her go.
"Love you too Mumma." Leonore replied, hanging up the phone.
Rejoining Virginia and heading towards the exit, putting her backpack on her back. They walked in silence and navigated the crowd down to the platform for the train to Homebush and walked to the Novotel Hotel. Virginia got the key and paid for the room, they got into the lift and went up to the third floor. When Leonore opened the door found a nicely decorated room, but it was the double bed that caught her attention and the only bed in the room.
"I'm sorry I thought I asked for two beds, we can go down and ask for another room if you don't want to share." Virginia said, pretending they got the wrong room.
"No, it's fine and it's only two nights, plus a bigger room will cost more. You have already spent too much for the concert." Leonore answered, feeling guilty at the expense and wanting to be close to her.
"Are you sure?" Virginia asked, just to be safe.
"Yeah, I'm sure." Leonore answered, putting her bag down and looking out the window.
Leonore was quite taken with the view and took a photo to text Kathy; you could see the Olympic village and see the ANZ Stadium from their room. Leonore pulled herself from the window and took in the room, the room was white and had red and black decoration. The walls had black and white photos in frames, nothing thought provoking and she guessed it was only a place to sleep. Next, she checked out the bathroom it was pretty standard, but had a spa bath and Leonore knew she was going to try that out.
"You like the room?" Virginia asked, who had been watching her.
"It's alright, too much white and I hate white. But the bath looks inviting." Leonore answered, suddenly remembering she wasn't alone.
"Yes, it does. I will have to get some wine to sip in it. What wine do you like?" Virginia asked, planning to use that to her advantage.
"I don't like wine, I'm a Glenfiddich whiskey kind of girl." Leonore answered, unable to stand the taste.
