It wasn't that Leonore wasn't hurting as she was, but she was done with holding onto something that was going nowhere and it just hurt too much. Caro would've forgiven them eventually and she would have understood, knowing how much they loved each other. Leonore didn't know what it was about Kathy that made her so damned sexy. Well besides the obvious that she was smoking hot, but there was more to it. She loved Kathy for many different reasons, and she is the one constant thing in her life. Kathy knew all Leonore's secrets and still loved her. Well except one and she was never going to tell her or anyone. She knew Kathy wouldn't judge her for it, but she wouldn't look at Leonore the same and Leonore didn't want that. It was bigger than coming from an abusive home, being gay and sleeping with her best friend's mother. Kathy had explained their connection to each other. That we get two chances at real love, that there was a soul mate and a person who stole our hearts. When we meet those two people, we are finally complete. Kathy told her that Leonore was her heart and made her complete. She trusted Kathy's word on her theory of love, she did make Leonore complete in some ways and in others she didn't. Leonore guessed that was because she was terrified to let anyone close to her again. She swore to herself that she would never hurt anyone again to hurt them like she did Claire. Keeping her distance was her way of protecting them, even if it meant hurting them.
"Hey Caro, you want to get a drink at the Cube tonight?" Leonore asked, not really feeling like going out.
"Hell yeah! Why the Cube and not Angie's?" Caro answered, over excited.
"Not in the mood for that kind of fun." Leonore replied, though she was tempted to change her mind. "I will meet you at nine."
"You not coming for dinner tonight?" Caro asked, wondering what is wrong.
"No, not tonight. I told Kathy and she is fine with it." Leonore answered, not wanting to play happy families.
"Oh, ok. Yeah, we will meet you at nine, I see you then." Caro replied, knowing there was no point pushing Leonore.
"Cool and don't be late, you know I hate that. I see you later." Leonore said, ending the phone call.
"I'm leaving now, have fun tonight and I will be here when you are ready." Kathy said, standing in the doorway.
"Ok, I will call you." Leonore answered, hating this separation already.
Feeling frustrated Leonore went upstairs and changed into her swimmers, heading back down to the pool. She started swimming at a fast pace, gradually slowing the pace as her anger and frustration left her. Leonore stayed in the water for several hours before heading inside for a bath, she ordered a BBQ meat lovers pizza from Domino's and ate. Dressing in a navy-blue long sleeve button shirt, blue skinny jeans and black vans. She fed Banshee and cleaned her trays.
"Alright baby, mummy is going out to be a bitch and she will be home later." Leonore told her, kissing her head.
Banshee whinged at her, not wanting her to leave and blocked her by walking in front of her.
"I know baby, but Aunty Caro is being a needy bitch and mummy has to pretend to care." Leonore said, picking her up and cuddling her again.
Banshee jumped out of her arms and gave her a filthy look, walking away from her. Leonore shook her head. She was totally whipped by this little ball of fluff. She was the only thing that kept her sane and loved her for her. Sighing Leonore closed the door and headed into the city.
Caro and Sue were late as usual, but Leonore didn't mind as something had caught her attention and it was painful and amusing at the same time. A young girl with her light brown hair in a ponytail and brown eyes was pacing back and forwards. Leonore guessed that she was trying to pluck up the courage to go into Cube, she was talking to herself and trying to hype herself up. She wore blue jeans, black business shirt and converse vans. Leonore felt sorry for her as it was clearly her first time, and she took pity on the girl.
