Hoseok turned around to exit the room again, but ended up being stopped by Jimin.

"Wait a minute."Jimin called him, pointing at the magazine Hoseok had in his hands. "Call the editor of magazine and ask him about the source of this article."

Because Chaeyoung had always been a low-key person, before the Park company's annual gala no magazine ever really published her photo. She became a topic of conversation among people after their marriage; they all believed that she used tricks to get into Park family, but no one ever discussed her relationship with Jungkook in the last four years.

Jimin noticed something fishy about this matter.

"Okay,Mr Park." Hoseok nodded before leaving the meeting room to investigate.

Jimin returned to the office; he wanted to sort out the pile of documents that he had left on his table before he went to the meeting. He picked up the papers and scanned the material. but he was unable to concentrate.

Flipping through the files, the image of the magazine article kept appearing in his mind. Jimin still felt uneasy over the timing of the article. It just didn't seem right.

As if someone had read his mind, Hoseok knocked on the door of the office and walked to Jimin's table. "Mr Park, the editor of the magazine just said he got a package last night, there were photos and source materials inside it...."

"Package?" Jimin raised his eyebrow intriguingly at Hoseok, tapping the table with his fingers. Hoseok observed Jimin's expression; he looked like he was deep in thought. Not sure what Jimin was going to do, he just stayed silent and waited for him to give orders.

Jimin hummed to himself slightly, rubbing his chin. Standing up suddenly, he grabbed his coat and turned to Hoseok. "Tell the publisher that if they don't immediately stop production of the issue and make amendments for the news, it will be the end for them."

"Okay. Mr Park" Hoseok replied as Jimin walked passed him, leaving his
office quickly.

Hoseok watched Jimin's back as he disappeared down the corridor. Most people thought that Seulgi was Jimin's most beloved woman, but to Hoseok it never seemed that way.

"Mom, look at this, I didn't lie to you, right? I told you that the relationship between Chaeyoung and Jeon Jungkook was not that simple. But you still don't believe me.The fact that it's already been published with this much evidence, how can you still don't believe it?" SeoYun argued with Grandma, showing her the magazine article regarding Chaeyoung and Jungkook's relationship.

Grandma scoffed and pushed SeoYun's hand away. "Are you seriously believing in such nonsense? I didn't know you could be so stupid SeoYun."

SeoYun huffed. "But look, this photo is authentic. Can't you see how intimate they are with each other?" She retaliated, pointing to the recent photo Jungkook and Chaeyoung in the airport.

The photo was specifically taken at the point where Jungkook had been stroking Chaeyoung's head.

They could even capture that moment so clearly and precisely out of all the other possible photos they could have published. To people that knew Chaeyoung, It was almost too obvious the photographer had motive to slander her.

Grandma shook her head. "I already knew that Chaeyoung and JaeMin were in the airport to send him off."

SeoYun scowled. When she saw the article this morning, she thought it would be a really good opportunity to finally turn grandma against Chaeyoung. Grandma was Chaeyoung's main supporter in the Park family, and the reason why she hadn't been able to get rid of her all these years. What she didn't expect was that this old woman was still defending her despite seeing all the evidence.

"Do you really want to keep protecting Chaeyoung, even now? I know you are really fond of her but how could you not believe that she isn't who you think she is when the photos are right here?" She slapped the magazine in frustration. "Think about our family name mom! It hasn't been long since her incident during the annual gala, our family reputation will be ruined by this woman..."

"Okay, enough!" Grandma scolded loudly, her tone causing SeoYun to shut up immediately. She couldn't listen to SeoYun slander Chaeyoung anymore. She lifted her head to look at SeoYun intimidatingly, an unpleasant expression on her face. "I have noticed that you always try to target and blame Chaeyoung every chance you get...I can tell that you really dislike her, and it makes me suspicious that you have other intentions in your mind. Is it because you really like that dancer? You want to get rid of Chaeyoung so Jimin can marry that entertainer and give her the position of Mrs Park?" Grandma narrowed her eyes at SeoYun warningly. "Don't get me wrong SeoYun. Even if you somehow succeed in making Chaeyoung and Jimin divorce, don't even think for a minute that Kang Seulgi can enter the Park family! As long as I'm still alive,I will not allow it. Do you understand?"

SeoYun was speechless towards Grandma's sudden outburst. She couldn't hide the displeasure that was
taking over her tace.

She knew that Grandma was really fond of Chaeyoung, but she didn't expect her t like her this much. Even though Chaeyoung looked bad in the public eye, she still stood her ground and continued to protect her.

Why?

"You haven't answered me, do you understand?" She repeated firmly.
Even though SeoYun didn't have a bone in her body that was willing to accept this, there was no way she could go against her mother.

Nodding her head slightly, she spoke through clenched teeth"I understand."

"Regarding this matter, don't get involved because I will take care of it. Just mind your own business. If you want to shop, go shopping. If you want to meet friends, just go! Just don't let me catch you scheming behind my back... Because if I find out,I will never let you go." Grandma warned.

SeoYun didn't dare to rebel against Grandma's ultimatum. After all, she was still the head of the house.

Resting her head in her hands, Grandma massaged her temples. All the anger was giving her a headache.
She beckoned for SeoYun to leave her alone. "Just go. I don't want to see you right now."

Jimin had just walked through the front door when he saw his mother walk away from grandma with a bitter and angry expression. He frowned, but he could guess that it probably had something to do with Chaeyoung's matter.

"Grandma."

"Jimin-ah, you are back? Sit down." Grandma looked up and smiled at him, pointing to the sofa opposite of her."I assume you're home because of Chaeyoung?"

Jimin nodded.

Grandma wrinkled her eyebrows slightly, looking at Jimin seriously. "What do you think?"

"It's nothing more than nonsense written by despicable reporters." Jimin muttered, an indescribable expression on his face.

Grandma sighed. "I think so too, I believe Chaeyoung will not do something like that.Even though you haven't been around, she has been in our family for four years now. I've interacted with her and gotten to know her over time. I know what type of person she is, but...." Grandma looked at him cautiously before continuing. "...sometimes a person cannot control their heart. Jimin, I don't know what you're thinking, or whether you regard Chaeyoung as your wife or not. But if you do then you need to cherish her. If not, there are others out there queueing for her. If she doesn't give her heart to you, then perhaps by the time you want to be with her, it will be too late."

Jimin was silent for quite a long time. "I understand, Grandma."

Grandma shook her head, she couldn't intervene with Jimin's emotions. It was something he had to manage on his own. "Please handle this matter carefully, don't let it become bigger than it already is or it will impact our Park family's reputation."

Jimin nodded. "I know."
