On my way to college the next morning I stopped in Costa, I really needed a coffee as I was up all last night writing that stupid essay on Josh. The car journey home from paint balling was almost silent, did the kiss mean anything to him? I know it definitely meant something to me. Anyway, I had to write a 1,000-2,500 word essay about him which was okay, but I only had two days to get to know him and one night full of coffee and energy drinks to write it which meant a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes.

I arrived at college with Maddy and we walked to music and drama together. "So you kissed??" She asked and I replied "yes" for the millionth time. "And he just left it and didn't say anything else about it?" I nodded and she looked confused. "Well, he kissed you, so it obviously means that he likes you, once he finds out how you feel about him, he might admit that, he may just be scared that you don't feel the same way he does." I nodded again, "maybe." I replied and we hugged before she left for the drama hall and I made my way to the music corridor.

I felt like my stomach had been punched when I walked into the music class. I just felt so nervous, I knew I had to talk to Josh about what happened but what if he felt nothing towards me? I walked over to Matt, Max, Chris, Dan and Josh and said hello to them before turning back to Josh. "Hey" I smiled sweetly and he smiled back. "Can I talk to you quickly?" I asked hesitantly and he nodded, following me over to the corner of the room. "What's up?" He asked so casually. "I er just wanted to talk to you about yesterday, about the kiss?" His expression changed to a kind of apologetic look. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done it, I don't know what came ove-," he started before I quickly interrupted. "Josh, I like you, I thought the kiss meant that you liked me too but-" I was cut off by Josh's lips connecting with mine. I could feel a smile forming on his lips and I smiled widely back. "I guess this means you do." I said confidently and he nodded. I grinned up at him making my nose scrunch up again and he kissed my nose playfully. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to tell you that it's so adorable when you do that." He smirked and I let out a small giggle as he ran his hand through my long, thick, bright red hair.

"I knew you guys would end up together!" Chris stated and Max joined in with "i think everyone knew they would end up together." And then Dan decided to add to it as well with "it was kind of obvious really."
"Okay guys we get it!" Josh told them and snaked his arm around my waist pressing his lips to my forehead. "Wow, I never knew Josh Franceschi could be so sweet" I spoke sarcastically and he mocked being upset before brushing his lips over mine softly. "Wow guys you've been together, what, a few hours and you're already acting like a cute couple! Honestly, before you two started hanging out, this is the last thing I expect from you guys!" Matt smirked and left with Dan to find a teacher to ask about some project they'd been given. "Lexa," Josh said quietly and I looked up to face him. "I just want to-er-apologise again for how I was a few ago and I'm sorry for running off after the kiss yesterday."
