Beomgyu couldn't believe his luck when he finally accepted the offer and even agreed to meet the band in Time Square. In conversation, the two had learned that they played there often and they shared the small income. To the ash blond, that was a more enticing offer than the prospect of having to dance. And if it was only five dollars a day he could give Hwasa, it would make him feel a lot better. Especially since he would never have to get into a car again.

Choi Yeonjun was just as happy, because this day had taken a nice turn after all, and so they were on their way to the last stop at the amusement park: the carousel.

With a relieved sigh, Beomgyu walked beside his boyfriend, whom he watched in between shoving some of the remaining nuts into his mouth. And because he needed two hands for that, Beomgyu had chuckled and put both hands around his elbow and watched him unabashedly.

"What?" Yeonjun finally asked with his mouth full, then nearly choked when he realized he had been eating the nuts alone all this time. The loner still wasn't quite used to this commonality, and thus he coughed briefly before holding out the bag to his beloved. "Sorry." He put on an affectionate puppy dog look, especially because he was really sorry that he had actually bought the treats for Beomgyu, but had nibbled on them completely lost in thought.

Automatically, the younger shook his head and pushed back the hand Yeonjun was holding the bag with. "It's okay. I just realized that I like watching you eat." An embarrassed laugh escaped him. "That sounds weird, I know."

Wide-eyed, Yeonjun paused in his chewing, almost looking like a little hamster tucking his cheeks, and bit his lower lip.

Did he eat that often?

Embarrassed, he lowered his head and looked into the bag, which was only half full. He had been used to Beomgyu eating little since he knew him, and he usually ate his leftovers, but Hwasa's statement that she had made to annoy him was still buzzing in his head. That his tummy was showing, although when he stroked it it didn't feel like he had a big tummy. "Why?" he then asked uncertainly, swallowing down the remaining chewed nuts and staying away from the sweet, tempting snacks for now.
