Aizawa's POV
We had decided to meet every morning at 8:30 in the Heights Alliance common room, since we wanted the students involved in the investigation. Everyone was there, we were just waiting for Principal Nezu. I wonder what Dabi found out. All I know is that he found something.
Nezu arrived at 8:30 sharp. Part of me wonders if he was just waiting for his watch to read 8:30 before opening the door.
"Good morning everyone."
"Good morning Principal Nezu," we all chorused, with the exception of Dabi, who stood quietly.
"Alright Dabi, said you found something?" I had to know what he discovered.
"Yeah. Basically, there are six potential crime groups with the experience to pull this off near by. I looked at you CCTV footage and found out that the guy who actually broke into the dorm had a jumping quirk, and the one who got them in and out undetected had a size quirk. By the way, they used the storm drain, so you might want to figure out some security for those." Nezu nodded.
"Did you figure out which group it was?" I asked.
"That's the thing. When I called all of them and a few others. They said that they didn't have anyone with either of those quirks, or know of anyone either."
"So we're back to square one?" asked Yagi, her shoulders sagging.
"Unless he had something I can track on him, maybe."
"Can you track his iPod?" asked Creati. She had mentioned that listening to music helped him sleep, so he always slept with his iPod in his pocket. I nod slowly.
"I can try.. Where does he keep his phone?"
"In his dresser," Deku chimed in, "I can go get it." I nod, and he runs off. He returns a few minutes later with the phone. I turn it on and-
"Does anyone know his passcode?"
Dabi's POV
"Zero, five, one, two, three, nine {051239}." I bite my lip as I enter the date of my supposed death. The iPod was creatively named, "Shoto's iPod."
"Found it. He's a few miles out of the city."
"We'd better get going," said Kanzen as she got up. "Dabi, do we take the kids?" I shrug my shoulders.
"Why not."
"You heard him," she says to the class, "meet at the buses in costume. You have ten minutes." The kids booked it. "Come on. We better get to the busses. I'll drive. Dabi, hand over the phone. I'll need it for directions." I did as she asked. "Thank you."
Aizawa led us to the busses, where a handful of the kids were waiting. A few minutes later, and we left with two minutes to spare. Eventually, Kanzen parked at the edge of the woods.
"I could keep going, but the road that would get us to the location is private. It's a straight shot that way from here," she said, pointing north.
"Ok, everyone out," directed Aizawa. The kids sure didn't have to be told twice. "Before we go in remember to stay together. All of you."
"Yes Mr. Aizawa," chorused the kids. We started to hike in, Kanzen leading.
After about an hour of waking, Chargebolt, who was at the back of the pack, shouted up to Kanzen.
"Where exactly is this place?"
"We've walked two miles, and it's ten miles in. Someone else do the math."
