Dabi's POV

"Touya!" Interu, or Profile, as she wanted to be called, exclaimed in amazement. Why the f*ck did she have to have her quirk activated!? Why was she even here!?

"Don't tell anyone about this Interu," I said, successfully hiding the small amount of panic I was feeling.

"Why not?" she asked. "Keigo misses you, Toketsu [aka Haru] blames himself, and the rest of us miss you."

"I'm not ready. This is why I was trying to avoid eye contact with you specifically. I don't want the others to know I'm a villain."

"One; I used my quirk on you, because I noticed you avoided making eye confects with me, but were fine making eye contact with everyone else, and two; a lot of us are villains, or are involved with villains. Minami owns the Nogareru for crying out loud!" She did  have a point there.

"Fair enough, but I still want to keep my identity a secret from the others."

"Ok, but I want you to tell me something in return."

"What do you want to know?"

"How are you still alive? Keigo and Toketsu both said you were covered in burns, and that Toketsu's ice evaporated before it could touch you." That's it? She wants to know how I made it? Nothing about putting my brother in danger or releasing nomus on the general public?

"Alright. Have a seat and I'll tell you about it," I said gesturing to the bed.

Once she sat down, I started my story.

"As you know, on May 12, 2139 at 1632 [4:32pm], I had the worst quirk malfunction of my life. I remember Keigo screaming for help as I burned. Two guards brought in Toketsu, but his ice had almost no effect. I lost consciousness at some point, and I guess they decided that if I wasn't already dead, I would be soon.

The next part All for One told me. I don't remember any of this, since I was still unconscious.

All for One and Kurogiri were going to different coordinates, just see what was where, like the Commission did with Yami [aka Gateway], and they warped to the facility, where they found me in the garbage heap near that place. I don't know if it was because of a quirk, or what, but he somehow figured out I was still alive. All for One had Kurogiri make a portal that would take me to his base, where he had a doctor that worked for him take care of my burns and other injuries. I woke up covered in bandages, that's the first thing I remember after my quirk malfunction. My memories at that point are pretty hazy, but they're there.

I spent about a month at the base recovering. All for One was already taking care of a kid, Shigaraki, so he sent me to live with one of his associates.

I stayed with that guy for four years. He taught me how to use my quirk and mind to be an effective villain. I also studied, which helped me learn even more about controlling my quirk, and made it so I could be something other than a villain if I wanted to. That's what made this guy cool. He didn't force me to become a villain, I just knew I was literally dead if I even thought about ratting out anyone.

Anyway, last year I was recruited into the League of Villains. As usual, All for One was in the background controlling everything which made it easier for Crusty to except me as part of the League.

So, how has your life been?"

Interu laughed at my question. I don't think that's what she was expecting, but I genuinely want to know.

"Well I escaped last year, and started a coffee shop six months ago. Before that, I was a cashier at the corner store at the bottom of the mountain."

"Good for you." We sat in silence for a few moments. "So, did you just come here to use your quirk?" I asked.

"No," she said in a serious tone. "I also came to listen to the phone call you got from your brother." I nod silently as I pulled up the file.

"You're sure you want to hear this? It's pretty disturbing." I double checked. She nodded, and I pushed the play button.

When it was over, Interu looked horrified.

"What do you think they did to him?" she asked.

"I don't think I even what to know. You remember what they did to us. These people, if you can even call them that, have no restraint."

"You don't have to remind me," she said with a shiver. "I still dream about it sometimes."

"Me too." I said getting up. "Let's head to the common room."

"But don't you usually stay in here?"

"That was before someone knew my identity. Besides, I want to spend some time with you guys."

"Is the cold hearted villain getting sentimental about some people he used to know?" she joked.

"Shut up."

When we got to the common room, the kids and Kanzen were sleeping, while Hawks and the others talked quietly.

"You're staying out here tonight Dabi?" Hawks asked.

"Yeah. Just felt pretty isolated." Hawks just nodded slightly. I'm guessing he bought it. "So, what were you all talking about?" I asked as I booted up the laptop, and signed in.

"We've just been catching up." said Clockwise. "We haven't seen Hawks in a while."

"Copy."

"What are you doing?" asked Arsenal.

"Looking over property lines. I'm trying to figure out if there's anywhere else our people could be."

"Which ones have you checked?" asked Yami as she slid behind me to look at the screen, "I've been to a lot of the Commission's properties."

I showed her the ones out of town we had looked at. I also pointed out the ones I was thinking about now. "I can guarantee your people aren't at half of these. This one is a storage facility. This an office complex. These wouldn't have a facilities needed to keep someone with a quirk as strong as the ones they're going after, and these don't even have buildings." She said pointing at the screen as she talked. I groaned.

"That still leaves us with ten buildings, and 823 square kilometers to search."

"You would be right, but most of those buildings are at least two stories, which makes it at least 1000 square kilometers." I nodded slowly. This would take all day but thankfully, there's more of us now.
