You Are mine

Chapter 1

She was the only daughter of the most powerful businessman of Canada Mr. James Lopez.

She had long and curly brown hair, that reached till her waist, fair skin, rosy cheeks, beautiful eyes, pink round lips and a perfect figure.

Anyone who saw her once, was never able to forget her.

She had everything that she wished for, except for her own father's support.

He never gave her a chance to prove herself and make her own decisions.

He made her do whatever he found was suitable or profitable for his business only.

And most of the time, he was out on his business tour.

Due to which he barely spent even a month with her.

She missed her mother.

This was because whenever she asked her father about her mother, he declined it by saying that when she was young, her mother passed away.

She had an elder brother, Ben.

He was the only one to whom she shared everything.

He also did listen to her thoughts & feelings and console her saying, "Don't worry, Kaira. Everything will be alright. I'm always there with you."

But now even Ben was abroad for some business meeting.

Kaira was all alone again. As she was missing him, she decided to call him and dialled his number.

He picked the call and asked, "Feeling alone again??"

Kaira replied, "How did you know?? I haven't even spoken a word."

Ben said, "I guess I'm your bro.... No, sorry big brother. And I know you better than anyone else dear. Even better than dad. Now, tell me. What all things are going around your little brain?"

Kaira became silent for a moment, then asked, "When are you coming back?? I miss you."

Ben smiled and said, " Aww.... my little meow meow is missing me?? Don't worry dear, I'm returning next week. Then we'll have a lots of fun. Alright???

[Note: Ben teased Kaira meow meow as she scratched him whenever she became angry.]

Kaira replied in a irritated tone, "Meow meow!! I'm not Meow meow.... Don't..."

Before she could complete her sentence, Ben said, "Ok ok.... I won't call u with that name again. Alright??"

Kaira replied, "Better."

Ben said, "So what were we talking about!! Yaah.... I'm coming back next week. Do you want me to bring something for you??"

Kaira replied, "No, just come back."

Ben said, "Ok then.... See you next week."

After talking to Ben, Kaira felt better. She opened her favourite book and started reading it.

She read it, "You are my Destiny." When while reading it, she thought, "I wish I had someone like the male character." Although she had a boyfriend, but he had been living in Australia for the last 8 years. It was a long distance relationship. And now Kaira was fade up of waiting for him.
While reading it she didn't even know when she fell asleep.

A week has passed. Ben has returned home.

Now most of her time went with her brother.

Few days passed. Kaira was happy.

But that day, their father called and told her, "Listen Kaira, I have got a perfect partner for you. He is young, rich and handsome as well. And you are already 24. As you can see our business is running in loss.You should get married so that we can grow our business."

Kaira was shocked. She said, "Oh! Firstly you controlled my whole life and now I'm not even allowed to marry someone of my choice!! Great."

Mr. Lopez shouted, "Enough. You are going to marry Mr. Wilson's son next month at any cost."

Kaira was helpless. She wanted to say, "But dad....."

He cut it off, "No buts. You are going to marry him at any cost."

Now Kaira was also frustrated. She said, "No, dad. I won't. You already know that I have a boyfriend."

It looked like Mr. Lopez came with full preparation. He smiled and took out an envelope from his pocket and handed it to her.

He said, "I knew that you were going to pull that jerk into this. So I already had prepared the evidences before hand. Take a look into it."

Kaira opened the envelope. When she saw the pictures, she couldn't believe her own eyes.

There were pictures of her boyfriend, with some woman she had never met. And the most shocking sight was that they were kissing.

Kaira was shocked as well as broken. She wanted to ask Rojer that why did he do that to her??

Now she was thinking, "How can I be so unlucky and how could my dad be so selfish that he does all these things. And now I'm getting to know that even Rojer has been cheating on me."

Ben wanted to say something but he was told to keep quite or else he's gonna regret it.

Kaira's eyes were filled with tears. And now she was unable to control it. She ran towards her room. Ben followed her and went to her room.

Kaira was crying badly. She hugged him and continued crying. Ben hugged her back.

After she felt a bit better, she sat straight.

Ben said, "Due to your tears, my blazer is all wet now. How much of water is present there in your eyes??"

Kaira stared at him. She said, "Is your blazer more important than me and my broken heart?? Okay then. U stay with your blazer and dad all alone. I'm going to tell everything about Sara to dad."

Note: Sara is Ben's girlfriend.

Ben put his finger on Kaira's lips and said, "Shhhh... Shut up. What if dad listens? He's going to throw me out of the house. Then you live here with dad all alone.

Kaira said,"But Ben are those pictures real?? Are they not edited??".

Ben couldn't say anything as he himself wasn't sure.

He said, "Don't worry. Tomorrow I'll check it and tell you. Ok?"

Kaira nodded.

That day, while talking, Ben said, "Kaira, I guess this is the perfect time I should tell this to you."

Seeing Ben being serious, Kaira asked, "What happened?? Is there something serious??"

Ben nodded then said, "This is something related to our mom. So we can't discuss it here. If I do then dad is going to disinherit me from our family. He shouldn't know this."

Kaira asked, "Then?? What should we do now??"

Ben said, "Tomorrow, at 12:30 pm, get ready. We'll go for lunch and there I'll tell you everything."

Kaira nodded and they went back to their rooms.
