Chapter-11

Kevin woke up with a terrible headache.

He looked around and found himself in another room in his comfy clothes. On the side table, he found a strip of headache medicine and honey lemon water.

When he looked around, he instantly recognised that he was in Kaira's room on her bed!!

He instantly got up, took the medicine  and rushed to his room.

He thought, "Why was I in her room?? Did I do something that I shouldn't have?? Where is she?? Is she more upset with me now?? Is she alright?? Ahhh!!! This is so awkward.... How am I supposed to face her now??? What will she think of me??"

Having a zillion thoughts in his head, he left.

He got ready and left for office without having any breakfast.

Kaira climbed down the stairs. She didn't find him around so she asked  the maids and servants about him.

One of them said, "Master looked really tensed. He didn't even had his breakfast. Before I could stop him, he already left."

Kaira smiled in her mind.

"Don't worry. Just pack it, I'll take it to him." Kaira said smiling.

The maid nodded.

After sometime she left.

As she entered the office, everyone greeted her. She nodded her head and smiled at them.

One of them said, "Ma'am is so beautiful. And even after being the wife of the CEO, she doesn't even have a bit of arrogance. She is so polite towards everyone. Sir is really lucky to have a gem like her in his life."

The other one said, "Yeah.... She even did something that was next to impossible. She changed our boss's behaviour. Did you notice that?? He is behaving very politely to everyone..... I'm still unable to believe this. Although not fully, but I think he'll change slowly and gradually."

The first one nodded.

Both of them got back into their work.

Kaira entered his cabin.

She found him standing infront of the large glass window. Even though his back faced him, she knew that he was tensed.

She knocked at the door.

Without turning back, he said, "Come in."

She entered and tapped on his shoulder.

He was surprised to see her.

He kept on staring at her, as if he was trying to make sure if it was true or he was dreaming with eyes open.

Looking at his expressions, Kaira pinched him a little hard.

"Oww" Kevin winced.

He rubbed his hand and looked her confused.

"Why did you pinch me??? That to this hard??? And what are you doing here?? I guess you were on leave today??" Kevin asked her in a go.

She looked at him and said, "Come on man! I'm not a ghost. I'm your beloved wife." She blinked her eyes twice, then continued, "And let me get you all your answers to your questions."

She put her arms around his neck and said,

"I pinched you because I thought you were dreaming with your eyes open.
