Chapter-24 (Final Chapter)

Alex and Shanaya took Kevin home. He was broken. He couldn't believe what has just happened in his perfect and happy life.

Alex was trying to console him. Shanaya asked Kevin and slowly described them from their meeting in Canada, falling in love with her in first sight and everything.

Shanaya and Alex looked at eachother. They wanted to help him, but they didn't know how. Kevin went to his room and began packing.

When Alex found this, he rushed to him and asked, "What are you doing man?? Why are you packing?? Are you going somewhere??"

Kevin just looked at him and smiled bitterly.

"Stop smiling like an idiot. Answer me damn it."

"This country has snatched my every precious thing whenever I've stayed here. Now I understand that my country is the best. I'm going back. I'm afraid, if I stay here any longer then it'll also take away the beautiful family I got here."

Alex looked at him for a moment and then said all of a sudden, "How can you leave your brother again Evin?"

(Note: Only Kayden called him by this name. No one not even Kaira knew this except their mother.)

Kevin was shocked. 'Evin?? Brother??'

He looked at him. His hands were trembling.

"K.... Kayden?? You are alive?? Is this the truth?? You are Kayden right??"

Kayden was shocked. He didn't want to reveal it to him yet.

"N... No... Who's that? I don't know him??" He said looking at his side.

"Then why are you stammering?? And why did you call me Evin and even brother? No one.... Not even Kaira knew about it.... Then how did you??"

Kayden didn't say anything. Kevin asked him again, "Tell me damn it."

"Y... Yes, I'm Kayden."

Kevin was shocked and happy as well. His brother was alive!!

He hugged him. Tears flowed down his eyes.

"I can't believe that you are alive...."

For a moment he forgot about Kaira and the pain. He was happy in the moment.

He asked, "Why didn't you come back? What happened that day?? How did you survive??"

Kayden smiled. He took him to his room where Shanaya and Diana were also present.

Diana told him everything.

"I found Kayden on the road. The people had thrown him thinking him to be dead. I took him to the hospital and he was in a critical condition. I took care of him and finally he gained back his senses. He was asking for you when he first woke up. I told him that I had only found him. He looked stressed. He told me what had happened. I consoled him and he somehow understood. He worked hard and established his business so that he could find you and finally did it. He changed his identity so that no one would know that he is alive. He used his resources and finally found you. But it looked as if it was going to take some more time. He sent you emails but you didn't reply. However, when your assistant called his, he was so happy. He finally had reached you but you didn't recognise him."

Kevin teared up. He hugged Kayden. Kayden took him into his embrace and smiled.

On the other side, Kaira had reached the Lopez mansion. Her dad was happy that she was finally home and specially far away from Kevin. Kaira, didn't like it. But she couldn't do anything either.

Next moment, she recieved a text from Kevin. She looked at it. It was a picture of him and Kayden together with a message, "Kaira, I found my brother. Guess what?? It's none other than Alex!! He is Kayden. I am so dumb that I couldn't even take a guess...." Suddenly there was a change in his voice. "Wait!! Why am I even telling you?? What's the point?? After all you deceived me. But what should I do with this stupid heart, it keeps beating for you. Don't worry, I shan't bother you anymore. Maybe, this will be the last text you'll be receiving from my side. The divorce papers shall reach you soon. Sign it and you'll be free.
