You Are mine

Chapter-10

Kaira called Ben and told everything. Ben said, "Sorry dear. I couldn't give you a company. But I'll meet you soon after settling everything. And I know Kevin. He is successful as well as a very nice person. I've known him for a long but I forgot to tell you."

Kaira was shocked. Ben knew Kevin more than her. She wanted to ask him but she decided to keep quiet.

Ben said, "Apart from all those, be very careful as dad's men are still looking for you."

Kaira replied, "Hmm... Ok."

Days passed. They returned from Maldives. Both of them joined the head quarters of Rose & Lily Publications. Kevin introduced everyone to Kaira. She felt happy to be a part of the company she dreamt of.

It has been a month since they got married. Both of them were happy. Kevin had now changed a lot. He was patient, calm and most importantly talked to everyone with sweetly.

Everyone was shocked as well as happy to see this side of him. This change was brought by Kaira.

Everyone was liking him. No one was afraid to tell or ask him something.

Kaira was slowly falling for Kevin even after trying to control her feelings for the contract, but she was unable to do so.

Both had feelings for eachother but one was afraid to confess and another was still not sure about her feelings.

One fine evening, Kaira was on a leave, as she had to set some important documents for upcoming meetings. Her phone rang. She picked it up. While talking to him, she told him whatever happened in last few days.

Ben was okay with it. To divert her thoughts, he was telling his stupid mistakes and some of his moments with Kevin. She was laughing at his doings.

Kevin reached home a little early to surprise her but he got surprised himself as he heard Kaira saying, "Oh man, why are you like this?? If Kevin knew this, he'd have thrown you away."

Saying this she laughed.

He was surprised to hear this from her.

Doubts were growing inside him.

"Whom is she talking to?? That to laughing?? She said "Man" which means she is talking to some male?? Who's that?? She mentioned my name too. Does the person she is talking to, know about me?? How can she laugh at any other man's joke or whatever the other person is telling her when we're not allowed to date other people during our contract period?? She was the one who mentioned this and now she herself is breaking it!! Wait.... Are they dating or is it some kind of trick my mind's playing with me?? Yeah... I must be overthinking. She can't do this..... I know she likes me as much as I do. But she never told me that she likes me..... But her actions show that clearly. What should I do??? Should I confess her already?? But what if she likes him more than me?? Is she just here for the contract?? No.... No.... This can't be true... I need to find the truth."

Having all these in his mind, he entered the room.

Kaira looked at him and smiled.

"How's your day??" She asked.

But he didn't reply. Kaira thought, "He must be tired." She continued talking on phone.

He laid on his bed. His thoughts were haunting him.

Few days passed.

Kaira was worried and felt restless without talking to him. She realised  that she had deeply fallen in love with him. She can't hold her feelings anymore. So she decided to confess him.

But whenever she tried to talk to him, either he ignored her or he didn't react at all.

Kaira was frustrated now. He was being unreasonable.
