You Are mine

Chapter-3

After a few hours, at about 3 in the morning she landed in Australia.

She was feeling tired after the long journey.

She booked a hotel nearby. Freshened up and slept.

It was already 10 am when she woke up.

She got up from her bed and went to the washroom.

After freshening up, she had her breakfast and left in search for her mother.

Ben sent her some important information regarding her. She followed them and started her journey. But she was unable to find her.

After a whole tiring day, she returned to her hotel.

She sat on her bed and thought, "Where are you mom?? How can I find you in this whole new country?? Why did you leave us mom?? Why?"

"No, Kaira. You can't break down just in a single day. If you've reached this far, then you can definitely find her." She murmured.

Having all these thoughts in her mind she slept.

Next morning, she again went on searching for her mother. And as usual she didn't get any information about her.

This continued for almost a week. Unless one day when she had decided to stay at the hotel to take some rest when, Ben called her and said, "Hurry Kaira, hurry and get out of the hotel where you are. Dad has found that you are there to find mom."

Kaira was shocked and asked, "But how?"

"Actually he called Nancy's dad to ask about her health. And he said that Nancy had not met with any such accident. Then dad asked me and I said that I don't really know about anything. Then he investigated and found out about you. He is really mad at you. You should leave the hotel as soon as possible dear."

Kaira said, "Holy shit" and saw the wall clock which was striking 8 in the evening. She packed her bags and searched for a cab. But unfortunately, there was no cab available at this hour.

"Oh! Damn man".

She covered her face with a scarf and left for the nearby bar. There she asked help to a man who was just sitting beside her. He agreed to help her.

In sometime, some people broke into the bar and started checking on everyone.

They reached to her and one of them tried to pull on her scarf when, a strong arm grabbed his hand and said, "Don't you dare to touch her. At first, you break into my bar, then you start checking the customers here making them feel uncomfortable and now you are trying to get your dirty hands on my dear wife? This has gone too far now. I guess I should call the cops now."

Before he could take his phone out of his pocket, those people disappeared like they were never there.

Everyone including Kaira sighed in relief. Kaira was shocked to know that the one who helped her was the owner of such a lavish bar.

She turned towards him and said, "Thank you so much for helping me. If you haven't helped me today, I would have been caught and taken back. Thank you so much again."

He smiled and said, "There's nothing to thank. It's just humanity. If I would have been in your place, won't you have helped me??

Kaira smiled and said, "Surely I would have".

Both of them smiled.

He said, "If you wanna thank me, why don't we get a drink together??"

She didn't say anything but just to smile.

Kaira asked him, "By the way, you haven't told me your name yet. What's your name??

He smiled and said, "Neither have you".
