You Are mine

Chapter 2

Kaira was unable to sleep the whole night.

She kept on tossing and turning, thinking, "What's there about my mother that I don't know?? Is there a possibility that my mother is alive??"

Even though she had a heartbreak, but that wasn't proved to be the truth yet. And for now that was nothing infront of the truth of their mother.

Having all these thoughts going around her head, she finally slept.

Next morning, she woke up and got ready. While having her breakfast, she was thinking the same thing again and again.

Her father noticed her distracted so asked, "What's going on inside your brain?? Why do you look so distracted?? I know that you had a heartbreak recently but that doesn't mean you should be distracted while having your meals."

Her father never liked her getting distracted in between the meal times.

She said, "Oh!! Sorry dad. It's not like that. I was just thinking about getting a job. I'll be completing all my degrees this year."

Her father said, "You can think that after having your food."

After completing her food, she was waiting for her brother to make a call, so that he would tell her the restaurant's address.

After a few minutes Ben called her and said, "Kaira, meet me at Norulla Cafe at evening 6. Because now I am not free. I have a meeting to attend during the lunch time. And I also have to check if that picture is real or edited."

Kaira said, "But you said we would have lunch. That's why I didn't even cook anything today."

"I'm really sorry about that sis. But I need to attend this meeting. Don't worry you won't have to cook anything. I'll order food for you. Alright??"

Kaira said, "Ok, but don't be late at evening."

Ben said, "Alright alright".

She sat and started thinking, "What kind of a person is my brother?? First he tells me to meet at lunch and now he is telling me to meet at dinner. God knows what's the matter with him!!"

At evening, Kaira got ready and called Ben. He picked up and said," I'm off work. I'll be reaching at the cafe in few minutes."

She replied, "Ok, then I'm moving out now."

He said, "Yes"

Kaira walked out, took her key from the holder and drove to the cafe.

After a few minutes she reached there. Ben was already there waiting for her.

She sat on the opposite side and asked, "How long have you been here?? Did I make you wait??

Ben said in a dramatic way, "Yes, dear. You're 5 minutes and 30 seconds late. It felt like a whole year to me."

Kaira slapped his hands and said, "Don't be so dramatic. I'm not Sara."

"Why do you keep on pulling Sara into every matter ?? I'm loosing my trust on you day by day. What if you tell this to dad one day and I get scoldings??"

Kaira smiled cheekily. Then said, "Should we order something?? Or will you leave me to starve??

Ben said, "Oh!! Sorry. Order whatever you like.

Kaira called the waiter, "Excuse me?"

The waiter came, "Yes, ma'am. What would you like to have??"

Kaira smiled and said, "Yes. we would like to have 2 cheesecakes and 2 cappuccino please."
