Maya: Is how I was separated from my little brother, and how our parents were killed by a demon.

Maya's POV. Flashback. 18 years ago.

My name is Maya Saito. Our family is neither wealthy nor poor. We're just an ordinary family living in a village.

My father had a pale blonde hair with eyes that are in the darkest shade of blue and gray. While my mother had black hair and eyes as purple like an amethyst.

Me on the other hand, inherited my mother's hair and my father's eyes.

Then, there is my little brother.........

Who was recently born. He was born six days after the new year. The seventh day of the year.

My little brother is really cute.........he inherited our mother's face. But I didn't know his hair color yet as his body is still developing.

We were delighted when we heard my little brother's first cries. He is a healthy baby boy.

Mother: Can I see him?

The midwife gently wrapped my little brother into a cloth and gave it to my mother.

Mother: Ah.......

Mother: He's so cute........

Father: Look, he got your face.

Mother: Fufu. I know right.

Mother allowed me to see my little brother and he's currently sleeping.
