Fun Fact: Lydia was assigned to protect the Dragonborn by the jarl of Whiterun after she (Jade) became thane of Whiterun. Though Jade rarely utilizes Lydia's protection services, she will often have her run petty errands and force her to sit and listen to her complaints.
